Thanks for the input so far . . . a keep the opinions coming please.

A couple of things - I don't believe that you can get the interior painted to a PTS color, but I'll ask the Exclusive people. Same with interior stitching. Fwiw, I'll probably end up with CF trim as the standard aluminum is a bit too "standard" for me. And btw, I don't "want" to spend stupid money, I just know that I'm going to.

if you are paying $ 5500 extra for a 991 PTS, don't get a color that looks like it could come on a new SUV from Kia , imo

Dark green is a timeless colour, its been around for close to a century so its become a part of furniture as opposed to a passing phase, my only doubt s that porsche won't do it so it would have to be something close if possible.

Brewster is on the approved PTS list for the 991.

I'm not a fan of "timeless" colors, I don't think going with 'classic' works on the new cars ... might as well put some faux wood panelling in it ... leave the classic colors/styles to the classic cars where they belong.

YMMV

p.s
What else am I going to say - owning a Mexico Blue GT3?

p.p.s
I wont mention the old chestnut of "resale" either... oops I just did ... sorry

A LOT of 993 Turbos came Arena Red with Classic Grey Leather.

in fact, from my recall ..it seemed like they ALL came in Arena Red, LOL, hence my lack of enthusiasm for that shade today

LOL! Most were Black, Artic Silver and Guards Red. But Arena Red Metallic was the post-child color and used in the the ad campaign ("Kill Bugs Fast").

in my neck of the woods, TTs were Rena Red > black>>silver>> guards red

993 C2S and C4S were predom silver,though

intro ads do influence buyers , like the Arena Red 993 Turbo and the current Carmine Red Boxster and Cayman GTS s

These are the kinds of threads I enjoy! When I die, I am hoping to go to PTS Heaven! Angels in deviating colors and with decorative stitching all over!

PS: I was promised yesterday by 'Porsche Exclusive' representatives that they would send me the latest PTS approved list. I will post that as soon as it's received!

Polar Silver is the blue-ish silver. Yes, a few were made in this color.

Artic was the most popular "silver".
