Thanks for answering my question. Got back Sunday from long weekend at beach and driving 655 miles in our 911 was fantastic, even rode part way home Sunday with top down. Now must save pennies to be able to get PSE exhaust. Your post make it a joy to read this site

With due respect to Clement Moore, the abbreviated version:

“Twas the night before Christmas, when all through streets
Not even an Audi was stirring, not even the R8s;

All my colorful microfiber towels were stacked up so neat,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would bring me a treat;

My Porsche Friends were sleeping with visions of the Autobahn moving fast
in their dreams;
Then appeared a miniature sleigh carrying eight Porsches appeared.

I heard Santa Say:
“Now, 356! now, 911! now 917 and 959!
On, 550! On, Carrera GT! On GT3RS and Rudolph you Too!

Then I heard a burble with a mighty wail
and they all were on my rooftop without fail!

Santa’s eyes how they twinkled, his red suit was amazing,
As the boxer engines were all a racing.

That all I could think of was my red 991S in the garage!
Hoping Santa left me new toys for me, not to large.

So as they all were about to leave,
I thanked them all for my wonderful hamper,
So I could put my microfiber towels away, and me a happy camper.

As Santa posed happily beside my baby
All I thought of was my two favorite hobbies (Porsches and Photography) and how blessed I am this Christmas Eve 2014!

I heard Santa exclaim, as he wailed out of sight
“Wow, these engines never fail, Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”

Hello Porsche Friends,

Well, it’s been almost a year since I bought my baby, and also a year since I joined rennlist on the same day I bought the car – a double anniversary. And what a year it’s been. I know I am blessed to own such an awesome car and am thankful for what I have. I love reading all your wonderful threads and seeing your beautiful 911s.

I recently had my car’s first year service done. Nothing to note here. The price and service were routine. The car has averaged 18.36 mpg. The highest mileage on one tank was about 23.5, and the lowest about 14.

I’m not going to go through all the options and review them. I love them all except the ventilated seats. If it’s hot enough to use them, then it’s hot enough to use the A/C. Bose is also sort of a waste of money since the radio is rarely on. In terms of driving, 7th gear is a useless gear. I never use it. I still think the clutch is a little heavy for me. Hub thinks its fine.

Right now the car is in bed, sitting with its CTEK warming up the innards of the battery. It decided it didn’t want to be driven when there is salt on the road. The car is dreaming of Spring flowers. Since its Valentine’s Day coming up, and she is red, I think she is dreaming of Bleeding Hearts

The only new picture I have is this one, which is enhanced a bit for effect

Have a good driving week, if your dare. Hope you all have been having a great new 2015 and smiling every time you look at your car. It is special.

Thank you for providing a wonderful place to talk about and to see everyone’s choices.

BeeBalm

Congratulations! What's the traditional first anniversary gift for that? Microfiber? Carbon fiber? Carnauba??
