There is another thread with undisguised pictures...Eduardo was kind enough to share those and some intelligent speculation on the mechanicals.
I'm told only 200 coming to North America.

Is this the first targa prototype with the rear wiper? Can't imagine they would offer a wiper on a lightweight lexan window (due to scratching) and on the otherhand, I can't imagine them raising a heavy glass rear window to stow the roof!
This is going to be an interesting contraption when it's finally revealed!

[QUOTE=chuckbdc;11027198]thanks Chuck! I can't imagine giving up Bessy (truly, I love the car) but something about this photoshop targa possible makes me crazy and as I read someone else say, "move to LA with this car and sell cocaine"..LOL! Sigh, it is possibly the 80s and 90s experiences of younger days with T-tops and the like. (the Bandit was before I could drive but definitely some of that too
There is just nothing like this Targa, if it will operate in a really sexy way, omg Bessy is my first ever P-car bought new (well, 88 miles demo) and the depreciation hit definitely takes some wind out of that sail, hehe. Anyway..thanks for the mention of Bessy, I still don't have her back from the engine thingy, hopefully in the next few days...

The clock in Detroit is ticking away. We will know soon enough if ISUK got it right!

my dealer is a Premier dealer, only expects an allocation of two. Put my name on one of them, but I don't think I'll go for it. I do think the car is very sexy though - if I didn't already have the C4S I'd be all over it.

I sure hope it is just a straight liftoff and fold away to put in the front bonnet! Otherwise this just looks like a technological maintenance nightmare in the future, what's the point just get the convertible if that's the case!

Everything I have heard points to a mechanical stow system that will no doubt be some amazing ballet of engineering.
