Default 911 Carrera S decal on lower door

I've seen a 991 with the Carrera S decal at the bottom front of both doors and I think it gives it a nice sporty look, but not too much. I know it can be ordered as a factory option. I'm thinking getting these installed. what do you all think? Anyone have a pic black 991 with this?

I am not a huge fan of stickers and badging. It's your car. Do it the way you like it.

Personally, I believe an understated Porsche is the classiest. Your prerogatives are your own, so you should feel free to get whatever you want as options, but IMHO, subtlety goes a long way. Well, as subtle as a 911 can be.

While I have not done it I like the idea. Most of the ones I have seen are black lettering with a red S. Obviously this will not work. I have also seen chrome ones like the ones on the rear of the car. I think those would look nice on black.

I agree 100%. You know it's a Porsche and that's really all the matters. You paid for it, have it your way.

While I like the decals, i.e. those shown by the links in this thread, I strangely enough wouldn't want them on my own car. I like mine minimalist and pure, so no decals for me. But they sure can make a car stand out more, or make it more personal.

I have the black decals on a Racing Yellow Cayman. I wanted a sporty look and this helps achieve that. If you aren't going for a sporty look, I wouldn't bother. Personally, I like the fact that it gives the car a bit more of a distinct look.

I have a black cab with silver decal on the bottom of the door. It looks great. The back lid shows P O R C S H E and 911 underneath. The" 911 Carrera S " chrome was deleted when ordered. The removal makes the rear lid less cluttered.

Did they forget to install the "C" in PORSCHE??

Just kidding... I ordered it with only P O R S C H E on the back. (Because of the lightbar on my C4S that's more than enough). Personally I'm not a big fan of decals, but it's very personal and one should order what one likes. It's not important what other people think

I think of myself as a bit immature when it comes to decals.
But at the end of the day, its what you personally like. If you're a boy racer at heart, there's no shame in that. No need to hide it. Plus, each decal adds +5 hp.
Unless others are telling you that you're discrediting the entire population of 911 owners, such as putting on fake hood scoops or something like that, do what you like. You know where I stand!

Your cayman looks sick. Love the wheels and decals.

That Nissan looks like a diecast model.
