Honestly buying a house was much easier than buying a 911

Glad to see that you've found what you're looking for. I think it's a great choice. Maybe you can buy mine and I'll take your allocation spot lol. Didn't know you do track days here locally. May we'll see each other at PIR, The Ridge or ORP.

They are... Sort of. The same wheel in black is available in the exclusive brochure for the Turbo/Turbo S. It's the same ordernumber (XRU) and the same name. Just the colour is different.

Has the light grey color ever been offered? I really hope people who order it like the color. I had initially thought it was a pearl white with grey tint in it, but now I have no idea how grey it really is in real life. I must be the only one that is cold on the colors available.

I have never seen it before. I have an idea that one must see this one in person to make a fair assessment. That being said, the Green color on the Club Coupe looks better to my eye (but the price for that car is totally out of proportion).

They look identical to the standard wheels on the Cayman S (just repainted and enlarged from 19" to 20"). Not a real Fuchs design like on the Sport Classic model of 997...

They suck. Look like 10 year old Boxster rims. I like the houdstooth fabric though...

Here are the wheels that would have been perfect IMHO to recall the last 50 years:

If they made 20s I would get a ducktail and have my own 50th anniversary car!!

Anybody else notice how the Geyser Grey pictures show the car without the PASM front lip?

I'm in a bit of a dilemma. Been told my new car is built, it is a 2014 C2S and should arrive in country in under 2 months. The dealership is willing to take my build and sell it (decent spec, easy to sell) and re-allocate my deposit to the 911-50th, but the catch is it will be approximately 15% more expensive and I will likely only get delivery at the end of the year, or early next year.

I've already been waiting for my car since March (I wanted a 2014 model), and now if I take the new deal I'll have to wait another 5 months!

Would love some advice (I know, the decision can only be mine, but I respect the opinions here)

I would wait, but I'm really drawn by the car. It's not like you can say "next time" either.

Exactly! It's a 50th anniversary edition, so there will be no more other oppertunity to buy this edition new. And sure... There will be a 60th anniversary edition offcourse, but that's 10 years away. And 50 is a nice number... Half a century!

I would wait If I was you.... But maybe I'm biased
