Default about to order a 991S - any advice?

I am about to order a 991S. Several of you already own one. What advice would you give? I am settled on a non-sunroof 991S with power kit. Everything else is open so I thought I'd through it out to the community for input.

Thanks fellas

I'm with you on the no sunroof. I couldn't imagine getting one without PDK. If you already have cars that are "more raw" then you may not miss SPASM, or care for PDCC, but what about the interior? Full Espresso 18-way mood-lighted luxury? Or the classic base look and feel?

It does come on the power kit, as well as sport chrono.

PDK/Sports Chrono
On the interior one of the nicest Ive seen wasfull leather, tan with deviated red stitching. The pics were posted up here, it really was stunning and more subtle than it sounds.

cheers

Sport PASM does great things for look and feel. Sport Techno wheels add an inch of wheel width and come with larger rear tires. Full leather especially one of the full grain ones in a color that is in tune with exterior paint, and the interior lighting package adds to the overall ambience and extends the sports - GT range of the 991. If you are into music, the Burmeister is a major upgrade.

Whoops! Right, sorry - I've been looking at ordering it from Suncoast's website where you can spec it without the PSE for less. Ahhwell!

Test drive PDK and MT. Then you decide. Everyone that has either one loves either one. Seems like a very personal choice.

I am currently planning a 991C2S, power kit, suspension options, in basalt black, black interior. No sunroof. Going with PDK. I live in LA so auto is nice to have.

I think that you should consider resale value in making your decision. I understand that you may feel that you don't need or want the sunroof but I would venture to guess that the vast majority of 911s are sold with a sunroof and most buyers want them so it could make it difficult to sell your car down the road without a sunroof. BTW: I have never opened the sunroof in any of my cars but I do have a cab and I definitely drop the top as often as possible.
