i dont see +50 from exhaust swap.. i guess the more important dyno is the baseline dyno... because it seems like the 423 is over adjusted, so the base probably shows 400?

Were you able to see the videos. Help is appreciated. Truth is I'm just looking for better sound and little more power in more rangers. There is also an ecu mod done.

Would need to see a baseline dyno, because rating something as crank horsepower is always a little.. odd. Would also need to see the correction factor used. Without those two elements the numbers are completely useless.
The transition on the modified headers is far from ideal, and it would be good to see the rest of their exhaust to get an idea of the actual work performed.

here is my 991s with FVD Sport Exhaust blasting down the from straight at Ridge Motorsport Park, my friend stood a bit too far behind the barriers, but the sound is much more aggressive in the car.

We just completed our 991 exhaust design - 100% T-304 stainless steel, manufatured by Speedtech in the USA. The total system weight with the two dual mufflers, tips and hardware is only 28 lbs. A full muffler bypass X-Pipe is also available.
Additionally, a center muffler delete X-Pipe is currently under development and will be completed later this week.
As with all of our X-cellerator line of exhausts, the system is modular and as such, the various 991 components are interchangable with each other, so that the owner is able to swap components to alter the sound level as desired...

I test drove a '12 991S and a '13 991 back to back last week and had them both in sport mode. The S had PSE and the base didn't. I had an '11 CS with PSE so have some experience there. For some reason the S's PSE did not sound that much different from the normal mode. That being said, the 991's stock exhaust has really been upgraded. The base Carrera's 3.4 without PSE sounded really good! The 991 base sounded so good, I almost decided to go with that model. Then I realized in a month I would have wanted the Carrera S. Everyone on this forum raves about PSE, and I loved my '11 with PSE, but I am wondering if the Porsche exhaust on the 991 is really that different?
I test drove a '14 S and a '14 Base 3.4. I wound up buying the Base. I actually preferred the sound of the base 3.4 exhaust under full acceleration to that of the S exhaust...The S however, I thought sounded better on start up...I drove both with PSE, I also found the Base PSE sounded much more different than normal mode than the S did...For me, i wound up skipping the PSE and just getting the regular exhaust for the base 3.4. The 3.4 doesn't sound like much on start up,,but in the 6-7k rpm range, the regular exhaust on the 3.4 IMO sounds amazing!

As to the above, what (if any) are the "disadvantages" of doing this? Does it make it Harley-esque loud all the time? Fuel economy/EEC issues? Cut into any tolerances?
Just seems almost too good to be true for how easy it is. They went nuts on the 991 to reduce weight, so I'd think 30-40+ lbs as many say would more than have to justify their existence or Porsche would have just done them all like that from the factory?
