Well the last post from the OP said they did pay for the approved repairs 1 and 2. To approve a repair, have the repair completed and then deny it is just horrible. This post will clarify how Freedom works. I recommend staying away from them. Just buy a Fidelity policy and don’t look back.

Sounds like a mess to me. End result, OP had to pay. Seems Freedom was negligent at some point for not being more proactive in examining what repairs needed to be made and also seems dealership was also negligent by saying 1 and 2 needed to be done and then upon further inspection finding out that 3 needed to be done, which may have overlapped 1 and 2. To that extent, I can understand why Freedom did not want to double-pay. There seems to be plenty of blame to spread between dealership and Freedom, but seems none of it was the fault of the OP, who seems to have wound up paying the Freedom premiums and for repair 1 & 2.

This is a long thread and a complicated story. There's plenty of blame resting on the original repair shop, and the warranty company didn't make it easy to sort out, although they eventually did.

Remove the warranty company from the equation, does it make any sense for the Porsche Service Center to be billing the customer three separate times, for three separate repairs, for a single issue?

Again, Freedom Warranty paid for the most expensive repair, the final repair order to remove and replace the oil pump, which should have been what was billed to the warranty company the first time.
