I really like the brushed finish, not a fan of painted wheels, these look great. The question I have since these are 19" wheels do you for a higher sidewall tire to make up the height difference. For instance the rears on my 991.1S are 305/30/20 so to maintain the look I would go with a 30/35/19.
Second question is would the ride be for foregiving, I like my PASM but the roads around here are brutal, so I'm looking for a little less harsh ride. I don't track the car.

The wheels at the top of this thread are 20”, which is what I’d get for my 991.2 T.

I have 19” winter wheels currently and yes, the sidewall is slightly deeper, to achieve the same overall diameter/circumference as with the 20” wheels.
I did take advantage of the APEX pre-buy on the 20" VS-5RS wheels in Motorsport Gold for my 991.1S. I've also had APEX wheels on previous Cayman GTS & BMW M235i cars that I used for track use. I've been pleased with every set I've purchased. The offset pushes the wheels out without causing any clearance issues. I still have the original 20" Carrera S wheels in Silver with Pirelli PZero's with 80% tread life if you're looking for original. PM me.

100% brushed clear. There are several videos of Guards Red 991s with these wheels in brushed clear. Looks great.

I'd go brushed clear on Guards Red also. Side benefit to the brushed clear is if you scratch them up it's pretty easy to match the color, lol...
