Car values dropping

That wasn’t really my point. But yes financing (if you must), is best with a credit union. And if you’re positioned to pay in cash even better.
My point was more on the lines that your average consumer will get a rate today that is high enough to negate the savings on the sale of the car.
So this whole thread and waiting for the sky to fall and picking up a Porsche cheap is completely moot.

I got offers from Carmax and KBB, but they were too low. One Porsche dealer was lower than those two. I've called or requested online quotes from three other Porsche dealerships and Carvana, and none have responded. Most of the dealers around here have more inventory (at least used) than in previous months this year. Seems I've missed the window. I'll guess I'll just keep driving and enjoying my 991.1 Not a bad consolation prize.

He’s back in the marketplace with an eBay link trying to sell his overpriced 911S after unsuccessful efforts on RL and, more recently, BaT. Of course, once again he got resident hype man desmotesta to laughingly shill for his new ad, and it appears his new strategy is to possibly use a shill bid on eBay. Magically, he immediately got a bid almost $20k higher than the best offer in his BaT auction. Very weird.
