Hi Brock,
This is a great improvement to the 991!
I live in Sweden and couldn’t order one off of your order page. Would be awesome if you could share the Stl file for me to print.
Thanks!
Carl

That being said, I'll make more of an effort to get this done.

There's a few 991's in my club that lack the ashtray (so just the storage pocket) and I'd like to enlist one of them to allow me to use their cars as a mule
The downside is knowing where the 12v power is underneath there. I'd have to assume that the ashtray lighter circuit is still very close by and it's just a matter of finding the plug in the harness.
That being said, I'll make more of an effort to get this done.

Curious though if it was done like that.... you wouldn't be able to utilize wireless carplay as the charger would be occupying the USB connection instead of the dongle.

Hi Brock… am trying to order using the link you shared through ApplePay but nothing happens. It says payment failed. (No it’s not my credit card)
Are you still taking g orders, can others confirm ordering recently?

It appears to have processed correctly, so I *do* have an order for you on the printer as I type.

This is specially for an iPhone with a MagSafe charger, but, I have been experimenting with a few wireless Android chargers. The problem (like many things android) is there isn't a lot of standardization, nor is there a lot of support for magnetic wireless charging. Designing a clean solution for 1 android device / form factor literally only covers a small percentage of the market, which most definitely isn't cost effective for a mass-produced piece.
I will gladly work directly with someone if they'd like to develop one for their device. However - the cost and time associated with a part like that are usually prohibitively expensive. For example, I figure I could modify one of my base designs and build a couple of prototypes inside of about 4 hours of work. Not counting prior design time, material costs or machine time (all of which gets expended in an effort like this), you're at a few hundred dollars (~$500+) just to have a prototype. Not exactly profitable use of time.
