👍 Thanks - I will try it, since I'm not really satisfied with the audio quality at the moment.

Just purchased Isudar based on all the posts here, the good reviews, and the fact that it has wireless AA. Have a project now for the winter when the car will be in hibernation!

It's a straightforward installation. Take it slowly and be methodical and it will go fine. The main thing is double checking your cable connections - you really will save frustration if you get that right first time. I think in total I took around 3 hours. I've been very happy with mine. It works very consistently and I've not had any issues.

If you have Sirius and want to keep it, get a FAKRA extension:
Amazon Amazon

You can remove the connector from the tuner and take the connector apart by lifting out the purple insert, then the cable slides out the back once you remove the screw on the back plate. You can attach this extension.and feed the other end through the back and attach your antenna to it.

I'm not sure I understood why this is needed. I kept my Sirius XM without doing anything other than ensuring that the board standoffs were tall enough to mount the iSudar board over the top of the Sirius board.

Did you route the cabling through the hole that the sirius connector was screwed into? If so, did you just leave the connector loose?

Yes, I routed it through the hole that the sirius connector was routed through. Just replace the screw back in the hole so it doesn't get lost. The tight bundle of wires and antenna won't move.

I did CPLAY2AIR for my 2018 C2S and it worked great. True play and play. Now I don’t have to use the cord but it has the cord if I want to charge.

It's a solution for cars that already have CarPlay built into the PCM. This thread is discussing the addition of CarPlay into PCM that does not have it.

Default Amazon seems to have the isudar

$330

ISUDAR Wireless Carplay Box Module for Porsche Panamera Cayenne Macan Cayman Boxster 911 718 PCM 3.1 Android Auto Video Mirror Link Supports Camera Steering Wheel Control
Amazon Amazon

edit- they only seem to have for the PCM 3.1 and I think the PCM 4.0 needs a different board.

This $330 price is nearly double what it is from iSudar directly.

https://www.isudar.com

it says it’s €260 which is $295. Where are you seeing it for $165?

I’d rather pay the $330 through Amazon and get it in a week with Amazon protections than pay $295 for it to be shipped from Europe. But I’d rather pay $165 even more.

In my imagination. I misremembered what I paid for mine, which it turns out was $281. Oops. 😳 Well, that’s still less than Amazon.

And mine was cheaper than both by buying on Aliexpress.

Aliexpress seems to have a variety of the same from $264 to $285.

Why would they have multiples within the same seller? Forgive my ignorance since I’ve never bought anything from Aliexpress. Any problems with getting things delivered or getting the correct item from Aliexpress? I’m a little leary of them.

Thx!!
