@AdamSanta85

Great thread. Just read all 9 pages on a flight.

So to recap and be clear, one can use front 350 and rear 350 Sebro Slotted rotors for a 997 Turbo on a 991.2 Carrera S with no change to the front installation hardware other than new caliper bolts (same OEM size for front) and just 10mm longer bolts (95mm) for the rear with 11mm spacer? Why wasn’t it a 10mm spacer?

I saw the vendor’s email address you provided. Does he have a storefront? And we’re sure it’s 11mm? Seems like I saw a bunch of other numbers thrown out on this thread including 10 and 12 mm. How did we get to 11?

Also, would this setup work with the GiroDisc caliber stud kits for the same sized rotors?

Thanks for this thread. Very helpful.

This is the washer you want for the rear caliper bolts: https://www.extsw.com/products/copy-...a-thick-316-ss
I ordered from mine, 350mm rotor and caliper fit perfect.

Correct. I used:

Porsche Brake Disc - Sebro 909383C
Porsche Brake Disc - Sebro 909384C
Porsche Brake Disc - Sebro 909355C
Porsche Brake Disc - Sebro 909356C

Not that I am aware of, email was fine for buying and sending Paypal.

That being said, @Scott O'Connor used these with good success https://www.extsw.com/collections/1-...a-thick-316-ss

For the bolts, our stock rear is a M12x1.5x85, part number 9A700758500, but since we are increasing the rotor size by ~11mm we need longer bolts about that length, Porsche part number 99906704001 will do the trick, since they are M12x1.5x95. These are 997 Turbo rear caliper bolts.

A 10-12mm spacer will work, its not a precise change.

So TLDR to go from 330mm to 350mm rear rotors on a 991.1 or 991.2 S/4S/GTS :
4x Caliper spacers https://www.extsw.com/collections/1-...a-thick-316-ss
4x 99906704001 Caliper bolts
2x 997 turbo rear rotors equivalent to 909383C / 909384C
Stock size pads
To go to 350 front rotors on a 991.1 S/4S/GTS
2x 997 turbo front rotors equivalent to 909355C / 909356C
991 GT3 size front pads
Do the stainless lines with good fluid while in there and thank me later.

@AdamSanta85 Where / how did you get this table? I don't know how comfortable I feel with the statement "A 10-12mm spacer will work, its not a precise change." The table above seems to suggest a 12mm spacer if I'm reading it correctly. The link to the other spacer you provided is 7/16" or 11.11mm. Elsewhere in this thread I believe I've read 10mm. I would think that dealing with brakes there would be very tight tolerances when it comes to these things. Am I wrong? I know you have explored this with tremendous diligence so please pardon my lack of knowledge or understanding here.

10-12 doesn’t matter because either way the pad doesn’t contact the swept area of the rotor completely.

That being said, do what you feel comfortable with.

There’s two sets of spacers posted in this thread that have worked for numerous RL users successfully, just buy one of those.

Doing some research on the two options in this thread, one of the spacers are made out of 316 Stainless Steel (the one with the link) and the other out of 6061 Aluminum (the one purchased through an email address) - two very different metals. SS is stronger, whereas Aluminum is lighter. Hmmmm. I wonder which makes the most sense for this application.

As noted by Adam Santa above, I followed his lead and did the Sebro discs big brake upgrade on my 991.1 S and was really pleased with the results. I went with Endless MX72 pads and found them great for street and autocross, but would got for a more track focused brake pad if the plan was for more HPDE driving. I use Ferodo DS3.12 pads on my GT4 for track days; they work really well for that.
