I'll set up my dragy again and see if I can pull more 60-130 times to show. As of now, I really do think is more power to be had on my car that I'm not getting unless I go with a different tuner.

Yes, I saw it. That's why I posted the 60-130 split between our turbo's.
My point is the m660's can make more power then the stock GTS turbo's.
3DMetal's 60-130 time is the fastest I've seen on 91, or 93 for that matter.
You have the same equipment, but a different tuner. You should be in the low 7's at a minimum!
Stick with Cobb and go see Mitch/M Engineering. Or talk to APR about their special sauce

Only tangentially related - for @fsmich and @911Pat - how much of a PITA was the turbo replacement? Anything major go wrong during the installation? APR is saying about 10 hours for a competent mechanic to do the job with Borg Warner turbos ...

Wow... 300whp baseline is a pretty low reading dyno. If you're a bit over 500whp, then you have roughly a 70% power gain. Nothing to sneeze at there!

Post up some numbers and can get a better sense of what your car actually puts down.

Mine were done at the dealership, on the first round it would only pull 12psi. They pulled the bumper off again and found a loose line. Sorry, don't know what the labor hours came to.

I had the GTS turbo's installed as part of the Porsche X51 kit for 8hrs/$1900. It was their first install and I don't know if the hours were accurate.
You have to remap to get any benefit of larger turbos.

I just swapped my turbos and added TiAL intake pipes in my garage. The biggest pain was getting the oil lines out. You just take off the bumper, exhaust, and intercooler cage, and the turbo is right there exposed staring at you. I got it stripped to both turbos in around 4 hours. I think it was around 20 hours for me total doing it a few hours at a time, while working 40+ hours and running a vaccine clinic as an extra duty. If I did it again and didn't have the stuck oil lines I think I could do it in 10-15 easily. It's doable with basic tools and patience and no lift. I'll probably swap to the M660 or GTS turbos in a year or so myself again.

Any tips on getting the oil and coolant lines out of the old turbos without destroying them?

Collant lines popped right out. I may have loosely pried one with a rag wrapped around a screwdriver. The small screws made of soft metal with lines surrounding them are hard to get off. I think at one point I had a torx bit in the screw and had a wrench slipped over that, since there was no clearance. For the oil lines, I kept using penetrating oil and tapping a super thin high quality screwdriver at the edge of the retaining tabs where they meet the turbo body. I bet 8-10 hours was just doing that. It's not hard, it just required patience. Below is the thread from me. I have to update it to include the final part numbers for gaskets etc. I leaked about 4 drops of oil and about 1.5 - 2 measuring cups of coolant. If anyone attempts this and needs help message me.

Got it-I remember your thread on it. Hopefully mine don’t give me a hard time when I go to replace it.

Tires will matter a lot more. I’m on the Pzeros for a bit longer and they are decent once you get some heat in them and the temps are 75+ F. Under that with cold tires, it’s very interesting up to 60-70 mph with traction control off

Thankfully with the APR calibration, regular mode is less power than sport/+ but still more than stock. This allows for better traction when conditions aren’t ideal.
did you ever run car in the 1/4 mile ? That has to be low 10 second car. Also any drivability issues with pdk?

I have not. Zero drivability issues. Car is currently getting a set of N0 PS4S so I’ll give it a go once I get it back. Stock tires simply aren’t up to the task of well running GTS power.
