Give me a call or use our online portal - we can help for sure. Not sure if we ever spoke before, but we've built a strong reputation here and try to make the pricing work for everyone - very simple too, as you'll deal direct with me personally as this is my family-owned dealership.

Another strong recommendation for Mike at Steingold. Very responsive and professional in getting me a Platinum policy for my 2017 991.2 coming off CPO.

For CA residents, you must purchase from authorized CA dealers. I recommend contacting your local New Car franchise Porsche dealer for recommendations on how to proceed. We can help for residents of all states, with the exception of CA and FL.

Definitely a good idea to purchase plans early, as mileage is the biggest indicator for pricing. Use our online portal for free quotes, and play with the mileage to see what may change in the future. This will be your best and easiest route for sure. Best of luck!

In my case, with 53k miles, there is no diff if I wait until 59k miles. Crossing the 60k mark makes a huge difference, at which point 48 mos coverage costs more than 60 Mos at 59k..
I have 6 mos left on CPO, but I do not put on a lot of miles. Unless I am missing something, it would seem sensible to wait until 3 or fewer months before end of CPO so long as I stay under 60k. Yes, cost could increase 3-6 months from now, but I would also gain 3-6 mos additional coverage.

GRADUAL BATTERY CAPACITY LOSS. NICKEL-METAL HYDRATE OR LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES, LIKE ALL BATTERIES, WILL
EXPERIENCE GRADUAL CAPACITY LOSS WITH TIME AND USE. LOSS OF BATTERY CAPACITY DUE TO OR RESULTING FROM
GRADUAL CAPACITY LOSS IS NOT COVERED UNDER THIS SERVICE CONTRACT;
EXPERIENCE GRADUAL CAPACITY LOSS WITH TIME AND USE. LOSS OF BATTERY CAPACITY DUE TO OR RESULTING FROM

It makes sense that they will not cover loss of capacity in case where someone says, "after x years my battery now only holds 60% capacity so I think it should be replaced under warranty."
But what happens if the car is 10+ years old and you suddenly get the dreaded U1 4D200 code "Hybrid Warning lamp" and P0A80 "Replace Hybrid Battery Pack". Will Fidelity call that a result of gradual capacity loss.
Maybe the more important question is, has anyone actually had their hybrid HV battery replaced under the Fidelity warranty? While I have heard good things about Fidelity, there are also some not so good where components are clearly listed but then not covered due to the "normal wear and tear" exclusion clause.

Hmm, this is not 100% clear. What does it actually mean when elsewhere Fidelity claims the HV battery is covered.

Created an RL account (after lurking for many years) just to say that dealing with Mike Bernardo at Steingold Volvo was a top notch experience all around. I shopped around for Platinum coverage ('13 991.1 C2S Cab w/ 60k+ miles) and got quotes from all the usual suspects including Michael Jourden @ Mossy, Rebecca Kunz @ Midlothian, Sigve / Emily @ Beaverton, Trenton @ Highline, a local Toyota dealer, and even Fidelity directly. For my parameters, Mike was ultimately able to give me the best deal, with Rebecca and Trenton providing the next best quotes. Having said that, just about everyone mentioned was responsive and friendly, and others may be more competitive on price given different parameters (newer, less mileage, etc.), so my best suggestion is to just shoot them all an email with your VIN and mileage.
