I think you may be asking too much from the average car salesman.

Cousin in Portland, OR was looking at a TRX. One dealer had a $15k markup, the other had a $30k markup.
He bought another Mercedes SUV instead.

It truly is crazy. Saved for my first porsche. Cash in hand over 110k. But cars are ludicrously expensive. I just can’t bite - it doesn’t make any sense. Oh well…truly sucks…

Some 'S' P-cars are available for $85 - 110k +, but used w/ miles...

Have a handle on a 13 C2S w/ 25k mis (was CPO) has PCCB & Bur sound for mid $80ks (grad student)
*(slight documented hit/cosmetic)

Found a few turbos (not turbo Ss) on CL.org for less than $110k, one is manual, ~50k mis Sil/blk, no CLock!

...do your homework! (due diligence) >stay local or add $2k for transpo

Absolutely agree that out of state cars seem to be somewhat more reasonable. Definitely taking a look. But honestly is anyone buying at these prices?

Did the drive/GTS MT6 from So Fla to NYC metro -1500miles- in 2018, a blast/three day-tour and lots of looks/thumbs-ups....
Too bad it wasn't a EURO-tour!

I bought a Ranger Lariat 6 weeks ago from a dealer that sells a lot of them so my choice was among 12 available. I just looked at inventory and now there is one on the whole lot and at full price.

I bet you could buy that Bronco, enjoy it for a few months and flip it for a profit.

I saw a 4 door soft top one with manufacturers plates on the parkway the other day.... they really did a good job with it.

Yes... or at least up until this month, they were. I've been watching the market closely for a few months now for a 991.2 C2S... But in the most recent couple of weeks there appears to be more inventory than usual (nationwide searches)... not sure if inventory is growing or turnover is slowing? Just now 30% of my search results on CG have been listed for 30+ days.

Also both my local dealers have the most used inventory since the start of the year... one of them never had more than 3-4 usually, for a few weeks in early May they had 0, and now they have 9.
All anecdotal of course.. but I hope the light is at the end of the tunnel.
