Is this product available (or needed) for the turbo on the 992S ?

Does the catch can contain baffles inside?

If after you install this item and say wanted to go back to the stock configuration can you please let me know what that this hose that you cut (part is called) so I can look up the cost. I know you can just add a connector but I am curious as to if you wanted to go back totally to the stock configuration. Thanks

You're looking at a nontrivial amount of work to replace a relatively expensive line, as it snakes forward and upwards, connecting to the top of the engine on the backside of the throttle body housing somewhere.

#4 in the diagram, part number 9A2 107 551 01 -- about $150, give or take. The red line is where you're cutting.

^ So, basically, the best way to return to stock is to save the end you cut off.

Just received the package from Vektor—thanks for sending, and the little tank lighter than expected. Looks like a very nice piece—what is the material?

Correct. We state this in the instructions as well. To covert back to stock, you use the short coupler that comes with the AOS, and use it to re-attach the hose section that was cut off to install the AOS. It's super easy.

Sorry if this question has already been asked AND that I am too lazy to go out to the garage and look under the car (it's cold out there!) but does the wheel need to be removed to drain the unit?

I received my Vektor AOS on Friday and got the install done on Sunday. Super easy job to do with one caveat (watch the video). If you have basic skills/capabilities you can do this yourself. The only area to really screw oneself is when cutting the line to install the new quick-connect. As Vektor references, measure twice, cut once. Maybe you should measure three times.

Will be on the track again in a few weeks and can't wait to see this thing pay dividends. Now, should I dive in and clean my intercoolers? 4+ years of ownership and 2.5 years of track days (say 40 days). Are my intercoolers coated and now under-performing? I feel like the answer is yes but that may just be my curiosity driving me to pull them out and check.

@Wujohn Looking forward to seeing this. Just subscribed to your channel too. Video say still processing so it’s not showing at the moment.

It is up now. No video editing on the thing; I just pieced the snippets together but hopefully it is helpful.
