Is there any way to check to see how much oil actually passed through to the intercoolers and can they be cleaned? I mean, can I take the intercoolers off and hose'em out behind the shed?

you can pull them and flush with acetone to get rid of any oil residue. Just seal one end, add acetone to the other open end, slosh around and then drain out. Repeat as needed-I wouldn't expect there to be too much in there but I have been surprised by other cars.

I've had the unfortunate experience of having to rinse out several different intercoolers over the years. Brake Clean, Acetone, Hot water with some dish detergent, or any combination will do the job. Patience and thoroughness is your friend. If you go the hot water route, dry it out with a shop-vac in reverse.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. We have a storm coming on Sunday/Monday so there may be a delay in getting them, but we have them in stock.

Yes, Passenger side only

That’s where the factory AOS connections are located.

^ Correct.

Under high load crankcase vacuum is transitioned to the passenger side turbo inlet. The driver side inlet does not have this feature.

The 991.2 comes form the factory with AOS but its inefficient or not optimally designed?

The way it is designed from the factory, it’s setup to recirculate the oil vapors back into the intake tract (probably to reduce emissions and Increase fuel economy). This kit will isolate the vapors to a separate tank for accumulation which can then be drained once it accumulates enough oil.

Higher end sports cars often come with an AOS. They generally work well under most conditions, but not all. Our unit fills the gap, specifically under high performance conditions where the OEM units are not as efficient.
