Funny thing is I hated the strakes on the Oak Green Carrera, but mind them a lot less and even sort of like them on the Brewster Green car. Paint color can be a funny thing…
I considered removing the strakes, but figured the effort/reward equation didn't justify it. Most people, other than those on this thread probably don't even notice them. You have to be looking for them.

Plus, in order to safely remove the strakes, you need to remove the front clip, which negates the whole reason for going with Zunsport in the first place.

YMMV,

I'm in correspondence with Zunsport UK and they asked for a photo of the front end of the car ('19 991.2 C4S).

Awaiting their reply

I just installed mine. Will try and take better photos another time when the car is outside. Very happy with the outer grilles. Not so much with the center. The gap on the top left is greater than top right on the center. Yours appears to be the same. I tried putting pressure on it, using a screwdriver to force the grille up a little to reduce the gap size etc.. I will work on it later when I have time but somewhat disappointed. Feel like the center grille needs a screw top center. Easy install!

I may play with it later if it bugs me enough, but I’m likely the only person to notice it. And now all of you of course.

I think I know what the problem is. Zoom in on the red circles in the attached pic. Those little nubs are part of the black center insert. I’m thinking if we just trim those back a bit the center grill will sit more flush. You go first.

I ended up pulling my bumper and did it the hard way. Well worth the extra work.

Correct. This the same black wire mesh, cut and basically sandwiched between the plastic trim that hold the motorized vanes. The center vent is OEM GT3/RS trim for 3rd radiator so its 100% bolt in.

Super clean look. Makes me consider going through the effort. Do you mind sharing how you sourced the parts?
