I'm actually driving my "toys" more. Less traffic and more time on my hands.

After the car goes to sleep there is little to no battery consumption. I believe that the alarm when activated draws some power as opposed to when it’s not activated. I also keep the light switch off and only use it when needed. In 5 years I have only used the CTEK twice after two weeks on not driving the car. If you are concerned about it you should plug the battery tender once a month to keep the battery maintained and fully charged.

My "home watch" guy plugged mine in today, put the top up and left the windows cracked. This situation has me potentially not seeing it till November

If it’s a Porsche CTEK have him check regularly that it’s charging with three lights on. In the last couple of weeks I’ve had a couple of power failures and each time it resets to standby mode with only the green power light on which means it’s not charging/maintaining. I have to hit the mode button twice to reactivate car mode.

I start jonesing to drive it now that i am not driving to work. In addition to the battery-anybody worry about tires flat-spotting? I just put some new wheels and Michelin MP 4s and they ride very smooth compared to my prior set up; don't want to chance that they will flat spot on me.

No need to worry about flat-spotting; if it occurs it is only temporary and drives off.

For the CTEK charger, I guess we are supposed to use the snowflake with AGM batteries. Does anyone know what a 2019 C2 has by any chance - AGM or regular?

It's really a non issue with modern tires. If you're concerned about it, pump up your tires to about 55-58 psi. My car has been sitting since late October. That's what I have been doing for over 15 years of hibernating cars for the winter months. Smooth as glass every spring.

Virtually certain, yes, a '19 991 would use an AGM. My '17 has an AGM.

Check your owners manual. Mine includes the below:

I don't see an issue with driving, the executive order pertains to non-essential work and social distancing, there are plenty of cops around NYC and no one has stopped me in the past 2 weeks. I haven't been getting out of the car or stopping to meet people other than pulling over and taking an occasional picture.
Maybe you guys disagree?

So you are on THE Essential list, then? It's not clear from your post. My company is on The Essential list, for my +350 employees in the USA (California and Illinois) but the Porsches are parked till probably May.

Stay healthy.
