Yes - he was going to drill and use screws and I didn’t want to do that if I wanted to remove them and didn’t like the look (of the entire package).

it would be incomplete as the dive planes plug into the area that pokes out on the side there. It would look like a gt3 bumper missing them.

the finish was ok but if you plan to leave the same I would have painted a matte black and cleared it - just my thoughts.

The drama continues…

I removed the bumper to fix my issues with the diffuser as it’s touching the exhaust where the valves turn on/off.

Had to buy another diffuser for $1,800!!

Bought some heat shield material to protect this one!

I also did BMC high flow filters as it was best to do as the last performance upgrade I could make.

I added the 991.2GT3RS side skirts but hate the little gap. Will have addressed when installing the new GT3 bumper at the body shop.

Now the last few items that I need help with.

1. suspension???
a. Bilstein B16 or H&R and DSC??
b. Is there a coil over that adds FAL?

2. steering wheel
a. Want a thicker one with the market sewed in.
b. Not sure I am worried about .1 or .2

3. Wheels…
a. BC Forged 21 inch custom colors
b. BBS E88’s??
c. HRE fiR’s?

Don't bother with Springs IMO. Just go B16 with DSC. I did TechArt Springs with DSC and it was OK. But once I went B16, I realized I should have just gone straight to these. The only other option would be going Tractives, but now you are talking $7,000+

I am running 20" BC Racing Forged wheels, and they are great value for a full custom forged wheel. I went 20", as 21" would be as pain for tires. I go through rears every 8-10 months LOL.

For the steering wheel I went with a Cayman GT4 alcantara wheel, which I think is the same as the 991.2 GT3 manual steering wheel. It is skinnier, but I know there are places online that can modify your wheel to make it thicker. But I love the feel of the 991.2 GT wheels. I went alcantara, and if you keep up with cleaning it stays fresh and not matted.

Any update @Wizo ? I went with 3rs sideskirts and 3rs front wheels and gt3 rear wheels on my gts. I made a custom front grill and thinking of going gt3 front and rear bumper. I'm not too far from you (Tampa).

Targa is not lowered, does not have pdcc. I had to source them individually then had them all re-powdercoated. Are you going with a gt3 front bumper?

The GT3 RS rocker sills are a very tasteful upgrade. Looks great!

Your Manual .1 Targa is exactly what my wife is looking for (in Carmine Red)

beautiful and I would surely consider it my forever-911 given that it is a Manual

The drop looks great. I think the bumper I have now would look very clean on yours without having to go GT3 - I already have some interested in mine but you can get the add ons from Design911.

i can not decide on wheels. I have a line on some Advan GT wheels right now that are used and would look great and also some HRE wheels.

just not sure I want to keep an all black look or just try BC forged wheels and do the polished lip and dark bronze faces. Even thinking black smoke face with bronze polished lips.

then I see bbs e88s… too many choices to look at!!

I have PDCC and it's about as low as it will go. I did increase front negative camber so it does look more low now. I could Remove one adjustment collar to really go full low, that would give another 10MM. If you DO NOT have PDCC you can go A LOT lower. Here is a more recent pic of my car from the side. Honestly it's the perfect height for daily driving.

ALL good choices, if I were do re-do my wheel color I would do that Gold Finish that Porsche does on the 992GT3, I think that looks fantastic on white. But for now I am happy with my setup.

Thanks Joe for your responses and picture.

I have chosen to go BC forged wheels and the face is gloss gunmetal with high polished lips. I was swayed heavily when I saw @ny911 and his GTS. They looked like BBS wheels with HRE classic style. I am tired of my black wheels as they are hard to see any details in them but might keep them as a spare set.

I do not have PDCC so I likely can go lower. I opted for 20 inch wheels so I could be more aggressive on tire (meaty) and lower it enough that they look bigger.

I just am debating on the price difference of $2k more to do the Bilsteins over the H&R VTFs…it’s just a lot of cash with all the mods I am doing at the same time.
