Putting OEM 991.2 GT3 front bumper on GTS OUCH!

This thread has become more about a place to put my mods, so i don’t clutter up the place with multiple threads.
I’m really excited for the diff to get done. It is the weakest link at present.
MoTeC are making noises that they are working on 991.2 Carrera now that “The Turbo” development is done. So that will be exciting.
If they release that, then it’s up graded turbo time.

Diff out
Just going to leave these here. One day, someone will drive their car hard enough to ask about a proper mechanical diff, and it shall be here waiting for that one person. 🤣

An E-Diff is great for the street, smooth, and is actually another form of a nanny. It interferes on the track, and when the oil gets hot it just gives up and won’t lock.
A mechanical diff is predicable. It locks on command. Effectively allowing you to steer the rear of the car with your right foot. It will lock as soon as one wheel spins. So it raises the threshold of where it will spin and it is more predicable.
It puts more control an purity back in the driving experience instead of constant electronic interference.
It also stabilises the car under heavy breaking as i got a 1.5 that also partially locks under deceleration.

Its just too hard to do G25-550’s. So the Tials will do. But I’ll order a new set to guarantee GTS frames. I don’t want to go backwards.
i’m 10.8 on stock turbos, have seen guys with T’s and tial struggle at 11.0.

Dayum! That looks good! I've taken to living vicariously through you and your mods, because mine have stalled out. I have the notion that I'm gonna do the Tractive DDA + control arms this year, but we'll see. I *really* like what you've done with the GT3 front end, and the racing stripes go well with the whole black and white color scheme.

The second set are staring to turn now as well. Even though I have more cooling and more vanes, I guess I’m getting faster.

I love what JCR did to their speedster. Put RS vented guards on. Then you just change the GT3 front black plastic surrounds to RS ones.
I have always intended on doing this eventually. It’s why I haven’t done wheels yet. The guards can accomodate wider track.

I’m in the process of doing this from a .1 Gt3rs to .2. I’m having some issues hitting the air guides in front of the AC radiators. Do you have to replace those?
It’s not done yet. There are more extras to come. $20k is an estimate. It has surpassed $18k at this point.
oh I see I missed about $3,500 after the original $2,650 quote .For additional parts that were not shown. Whichbwas the basis of my rant. I had requested a quote for the final parts list which can back at $2,650. However when they pulled it all apart they discovered the issue with the air con lines and basically the need to remove all things GTS , and start fresh with all things GT3. It’s not that all the bits are superior, they are just rerouted so as not to interfere with the now exit of air upwards.
its been the mod that keeps taking.
i can joke now and say my car has extra power as it has GT3 air con. I told that joke to a mate with a GT3 and his first language is not English and he replied he is unhappy with his GT3 air conditioning. Hahaha
