Anyone know the actual spoiler step value on a SD coded car?

What value did you end up using? Mine is 660 default. Would love the Porche OE value.

If not maybe we can request some tape measurer measurements from someone and figure out the 'steps' value in reverse. Has to be close to that ~450 number

Is there anyone on Long Island who has this equipped OE that I can plug my scanner into? Would only take a minute and wouldn't affect anything. I could also make your windows work with your key and fix your broken water temp gauge at the same time if wanted.

What spoiler are you instaling on your car? I installed Moshammer on my 17 991.2 C2. I programmed with PIWIS 3 as having Aerokit Package. Spoiler angle on Aerokit Package looked very good I believe value is 552. Original value is 750. since Moshammer is curvier I brought the value down to 450. No ill effects at sensible highway speeds and no cooling issues in hot Florida summer. some photos on this trend #45

Sport Design rear spoiler installed. I have yet to have it reprogrammed to deploy at the correct angle of attack. I was fortunate to have a friend record this short video of the spoiler deployment, both with the sunroof open and closed. If you look at the video carefully, you can see the differences between open and closed sunroof. Fortunately, there appears to be some good recommendations in this thread, and I will try to deduce from here the best/correct settings for all deployment variables.

Default Factory SD spoiler settings

I don’t think I saw this answered or posted anywhere in my quest to find the step settings. I installed rennlines carbon reproduction of the factory SD spoiler, and used the piwis instructions in post 26 to code the car, and it shows you changed parameters when wrapping up the job, I took a picture of the changed parameters for those coding through the autel unit:

Bear in mind if you’re setting the steps only and not coding the car via piwis as having the XAT sport design pack installed your third brake light on the spoiler may not work at the lower setting. I *believe* that’s what the “aussen beleutchung” setting is, but not 100%. It roughly translates to outside lighting

it’s essentially copied and pasted into post 25 of this thread also, just a little easier to digest as the PDF. Maybe try a different browser?

And for those interested: here’s the Rennline SD, I had the body shop leave the rear and sides as exposed carbon for a little contrast

Sorry I did not go back and look through this whole thread but does anyone know of proper Sport Design Rear Spoiler settings/programming values for a GTS cab? Asking for a friend. @GiGNet

@Tier1Terrier @GiGNet

This what I have saved from some of these threads.
I'm not sure if the cab has a different setting..

@VacantSky
That looks really good!

Rennline states that it's "Designed from a factory GTS spoiler"
How did you find fitment and finish?
Did it take much tweaking to install?

I had to get creative with the adjustments on the spoiler mechanism to get it positioned properly, if you remove the spoiler blade you’ll notice 4 studs/bolts to make height and position adjustments for alignment.

I wouldn’t trust Rennlines statements of a factory fit because I also ordered (and sent back) their carbon sport design mirrors and they were awful. This wasn’t bad, I would hope that all others made from the same mould are about equal to this one. I didn’t have to get it tweaked by the body shop, just painted. Hope that helps!
