Default GT3 on my Carrera? Yep, 5 lug GT3 Wheels!

Hi guys-
OK, a little back story. I've always loved the modern GT3 wheels. LOVED them. I always wished someone made a 5 lug version for my Carrera cab. Well, it turns out they do. I found a company on eBay that will not only sell you a set, but paint them however you want. It took a couple months from order, but I'm SUPER happy with these. They're not HRE's so the paint isn't perfect, but they're damn nice for the money spent. On the 991.2 car like mine the rears poke slightly, like maybe 1/2". I don't normally like a poke but it's pretty minor, I can live with that.

I think these make my car a little "Speedster like" I guess. That's not a bad thing.

Take a look at the photos. I've got silver caps coming this week, not a super fan of the grey caps on there now.

It looks great, but the car really needs a suspension drop, bad. Nice job.

Totally agree! First thing in the spring. I've only got 2 weeks left of the season with this. April will be about right for new springs.

thanks

I've always liked the look of the GT wheels and in Black they would look sweet. Any idea of what they weigh? Link to the seller?

I saw these but a concern of mine was if the wheels had any safety ratings or anything. Do these have any of the safety ratings on the wheels?

Just check them occasionally to make sure you are not getting any cracks. They are made in China so testing is not their strength.

Those are good looking wheels. I would never track them though. I don’t know the seller or the wheels, but I’ve been around the car game way too long to take any risks with wheels.

They really do look great though. For all we know they could be great quality wheels too.

Rotiform has a wheel called the PGT (lol) that the vendor Wheels Boutique pointed out to me. Forged, but I think they are like $4-5k for the set though.
