Price, like everything else that’s hand-made. Make me an offer in a few months, we’ll see.
I meant how much did it cost to have them made

I think your wheels and car look awesome. So glad to see more silver and less black and now the new black “gold”. As you said your car needs to be lowered and it will look just awesome.

About the wheels, good on you. Unless you are going to buy BBS or HRE they are all “knock offs”. If you think everyone of these million wheel companies all have million dollar CNC machines around you are nuts. Also there are PLENTY of examples of wheels that have cracked with all the certifications and ratings. You aren’t going to track the car and if you hit a big pothole you will run the risk of cracking or bending just like EVERY other wheel so just check them.

Looks awesome, great price and never mind the haters. Get out and drive.

There is a large grey area in the wheel industry of quality. Every wheel that isn't BBS/HRE isn't equal quality. BBS and HRE aren't the only "original" wheel brands.

This advice, is ****.

As I am looking into aftermarket wheels, I stumbled onto this thread via Google Search.

I was searching for GT4 wheels on the 991S and couldn’t find any images of this swap. I see someone in this thread referenced that it's been done before. Does anyone know who had this done?

A quick offset calculation looks like the GT4 rear wheels would stick out about 20mm on the 991S which would give it a more flush look.

The GT4 front wheels are 10mm closer to the struts of the 991S which means it would need at least a 10mm spacer.

I love the look of the GT wheels, and the GT4 wheels aren’t that far off in price in the used market vs the eBay editions.

Any reason why folks are going the eBay route and not the GT4 wheels route?

Is your car a 991.1 or .2? The offsets are different.

You must be a politician. I would never drive at speed on anything made in China.

This train of thought is so rubbish to me considering there are many high quality things that are made and/or assembled in China.

I have my share of products made all around the world, and even American-made products can be (even more expensive) trash.

Default 21' Rears?

Looks great! I too am a fan of the GT3 wheels, but particularly the 20'F & 21'Rear look. Are these 20'rear or 21? They look 20, but wanted to confirm.

If you're looking for used GT4 wheels, they can be had in the $3500 range.

I've been watching the price of used GT4 wheels for around a year. They've never sold for that low. Just looking at the sold listings on the marketplace here will show a range of $3,400 to $3,800. There was a set on the PCA classifieds a few months ago that sold within a few days at $3,000.

Ah you are correct. I had $3,500 average in my price tracking notes but it slipped my mind for some reason.

@DanQ HRE offers their FF01's that can be had in that price range. Only a 15 mm rear spacer (and longer lugs) are required to make it work. if you'd like more info give me a call.
