That’s very impressive, Charles! You’re living your best life!
So your map 6 page shows 3.5 from 1500 rpm through 7000? Did you change any other parameters on that map page?
Payam, would this adjustment be safe for base Carrera too?
Yes all entries are 3.5 psi through the rpm range. No other changes. I think this has more oomph in the mid range than map 3 but has less peak psi than map 3. Payam says below that this is slightly more aggressive than map 3

Last night went and did some runs to my surprise usccharles beat me to it couple hours 2nd time in row
You should see my face when i uploaded my time and ladder refreshed with him right above me! Great time bro!!
As for me i added 1/4th tank of race fuel to offset bad quality of CA fuel. Car drove very smooth and was more responsive than on 91 V-Power. Now i think my limitation is only bad testing road and not sticky enough tires.
Posting 2 best runs from map 2,map 3 and a video sorry for bad angle... will fix next time. No map logs this time as jb4 app went crazy on my and didn't record anything than boost will reinstall it to have them done while on mix of 91 and race fuel.
Just to add before any arguments starts. This road was closed at night so zero traffic and no animal were hurt
Looking good guys! Keep posting results and logs so we can review them

Yes, that's just a tad more aggressive than map 3. As long as you have the octane for it, you're totally fine.
We'll be making another firmware update soon, so I'll post it up when we do. It will have a slightly more aggressive map curve all around.

Put my car away while I relocate for work. Probably will grab it in Spring.
Prior to that, I went into service with the JB4 removed a couple days prior. Went routine.
I got several firmware updates during the time I had it on. Each update improved the feel. The low-end lag that was experienced in the early revisions was fixed within the first update I received.
Everything after has been steady increases based on the logs I provided. Map 3 is my favorite and daily map. Car pulls hard throughout the rev band.
Light E85 mixing seemed to work well, however didn't get a chance to really test because life.
Hopefully once I get back in the driver seat.
We do have updates we'll post up soon. I'll let you know when we do.
I'm still working with the tool to get roller mode active via JB4. I'll let you know when I do so you can come over for the dyno I promised you

Where do you host the updates and how are they uploaded to the JB4? I see that Aatish has had several firmware updates are they available for all to access? In this thread the common complaint was the low down lag but again Aatish said this was fixed with his first firmware updates, If so I am sure this would definitely sway anyone on the fence about the JB4.

Thanks
Payam and Terry sent me a revisions via email, after I had sent some logs over for review. I wanna say there's a forum thread on N54Tech for the 991.2...but I can't seem to find it.

Updates are posted here. We'd encourage customers also to post JB4 logs there if they want tuning review, tips for more power, etc!
Reviving this thread, but does anyone have WHP gains and torque gains for a 991.2 4S? I'm curious to see it since the torque curve is dead flat for the 4S.
