Yeah I used JB4 on my BMW a few years ago, it was great. Easy to flash. I look forward to trying this. It'd be helpful if they indicated what type of mods are required for each map.

From the BMS forums...
Map0 - JB4 disabled
Map1 - 2psi peak 91 octane
Map2 - 3psi peak 91/93 octane
Map3 - 4psi peak 93 octane, race gas, or ethanol blend
Map4 - 6psi peak ethanol blend or race gas
Map5 - 8psi peak ethanol blend, race gas, CPI required
Map6 - User adjustable by RPM map using settings on user adjustment page. Setting of 5.0 would request 5psi over stock at that specific engine speed.
Map7 - Progressive WMI integrated map, boost profile under WMI flow adjustable on WMI page.
Map8 - Low boost VALET map (400hp simulation!)

I guess I'll jump in in regards to warranty and logging:
Warranty
You have to understand how the JB4 works. Say you have sensor A that feeds to the DME. The JB4 unit goes in between Sensor A and the DME. The controller inside the unit alters the signal being outputted by Sensor A (usually a voltage value) and outputs a value that is below the target for that specific module. DME reads that there is a delta, and reacts to correct delta by changing the corresponding parameters (waste gate actuation, fueling, throttle position, etc...)
The DME is still reading (and storing) values that are within factory spec...
That said, you're still running outside of factory spec in reality. A JB4 can throw codes, though a DME tamper code probably won't be one of them.
If you need to go to service, you can pull of the unit and most of the time nobody will know it was there.
If you blow a turbo, or require some major work on your car....there are ways to find out.
If you go into the dealer for a service with the unit installed, chances are you're gonna get asked about it and/or reprimanded (aka, warranty issues)
It's not a Porsche approved product, but it is a clever product. For day to day use, JB4s are nice ways to get a power bump without really messing with the car...
Logging
You won't get fuel capabilities like Cobb AP...
But, you'll have access to a decent amount of channels (Boost, target, RPM, IAT, WG, timing, AFR, etc)
The bluetooth unit is also pretty slick.
