In my defense, I've opened the glass roof perhaps three times in five years. I enjoy the sunlight but not the wind. Right now, when opened, the deflector is only rising about halfway. It's held back by a string in the middle. I remember I reset this once before so it would deploy to full height, but I can't remember how I did it.

Anyone remember?

 

Not sure how it’s reset but I know that it’s fully extended below 140km/h and goes down to half if your speed exceeds that. At what speed are you checking this?

 

Figured it out. I took up to high freeway speeds and then back down to normal speeds and it reset itself to full deflector height in the city. I kept thinking it was something to do with holding the sunroof switch, but I suspect that's for resetting the size of the opening once you've lost battery power.

And that marks the last time I will be opening the roof for at least another year! LOL.
