Here is a video - some more technical difficulties ...lol

on the spectrum video same phone messages appeared that volume is too loud for what ever reason covering the screen so will have to figure that one out again. but it will be done.

on the dB video, there is too much humidity and the exhaust fogged up the camera lens, but we got a good sound video with all the sound

Normal
Normal with valve open
Sports with valve open
sports plus with valve open

I also kept the door closed as I really wanted to hear it from the cabin as normal, windows up. I had a gin on my face through out, just loved it... everything is loud, you can hear everything working but more meaty, manly, grizzly like, angrier as someone else put it.lot of growl. Nothing unpleasant.

one suprise

in sports plus, at idle I was seeing 1Psi turbo boost pressure and up to 2Psi around 3K. It was 1Psi most of the time at idle. in sports plus lot of air is flowing through.

The pops were more random and louder and with more base.

overall - happy camper. videos coming
i thought this was just how sports plus works. happens on my car too, but i have the vector headers (tho i really doubt its the parts that's doing this)

Good to know, I never paid attention to it before.

Yep. Standard anti lag system kicks in in sport + mode. 1-2 psi is standard. With the full exhaust ill see 3-4 psi prespooled with high rpms off the gas.

Nice work! You'll have a lot of fun when you start driving you'll have to place the phone further away from the car. dB rduces exponentially as distance increases.

Yeah I put it at the same place as before even though its not recording sound in the video it keeps coming up with the error. I will try another time by inducing the error and acknowledging it to continue.

From the cabin everything sounded amazing, before my wife always said exhaust wasn’t loud enough, I had to drop the windows and turn the music off every now and then.

Amazing how much you can hear the turbo spool. This video is one of the clearest I've heard...nice job. Definitely a different tone and it makes sense when people say it breathes easier.

Ah, that explains all the awesome jet turbine sounds screw the NA engines!

NA would be fun on Track, but for public road I would take more torque down low any day.

I have a Black Ceramic Coated Sharkwerks exhaust system ready to ship if anyone is interested.

Default Success - Yayy

Yes finally success - got both new videos done. Kept the sequence simple.

ready for anaylsis

Normal mode until car settles
Few revs
Normal with Valve open
Few revs
Sports with Valve open
Few revs
Sports plus with Valve open
Few revs
Sports
Normal
Valve shut
Engine shut

First up is the Spectrum

Second up is the dB readings and sound, its a different camera so sound is a bit different. First baseline video for dB reading was with the cell phone. BTW - Wife got scared when I started the car, she was standing right behind it

With the valves open its got a lot of angry growl even in Normal mode

and its 10dB louder per readings

“Doubling of the volume (loudness) should be sensed as a level difference of +10 dB − acousticians say. Doubling of sound intensity (acoustic energy) belongs to a calculated level change of +3 dB. +10 dB is the level of twice the perceived volume or twice as loud (loudness) in psychoacoustics − mostly sensed.”

I did a quick look at normal mode, pre and after mods. You can see after the mods, there are 6 distinct peaks between 50hz and 150hz whereas it's more muddy with the stock exhaust setup. I think you'll really see the differences when you drive and go full throttle as the exhaust energy will be much higher.

cannot get the second (closer to the front of the car) o2 sensor out on either side, seems like they are stuck pretty hard. did you have a hard time removing any of these??
