We just better incentivize our attorneys over here.

Wouldn’t a Eureopean tend to read the manual before an American would? I’m guessing oil check intervals are listed in the manual.

You would think that since the oil temp is read, and it is a digital gauge, a simple calculation could be done by the computer to register the correct fill level cold or hot.

After last oil change, I brought the oil temp to 190 and still no reading - A few weeks later I added 1 bar of oil and it calculated immediately while cold. Honestly have no idea what to make of it.

It literally states, "Oil level is correct"

Officially this is how it works:

If engine hatch is opened when vehicle is NOT at operating temperature:
-Oil level will not be available until oil is at operating temperature for a "while" (That is Porsche engineering terminology right there).

If engine hatch is open when vehicle is at operating temperature:
-Oil level display will continue to be available and will refresh once every 2 minutes.

So to adjust level make sure oil is at operating temp and you can do it in one go. This of course is not much help when changing oil unless you hurry quite a bit.

Its nowhere near a true dry sump

That is the exact suggestion my wife gave me after she said I was an idiot, (which is also stating the obvious)

What is the recommended cure for a 2013 911 when the garage over fills my oil when doing a routine oil change? The Exceeds Max Not Possible to Drive light just stays on and they insist they have drained and refilled with the correct amount of new oil.

I had a similar issue with my 981. After having the overfill scenario I went back and my shop drained and refilled. I told them to let it fully drain first which took an extra 15 minutes. After refilling it appeared fine but ended up being underfilled. Rather than going back, I picked up a litre of Mobil 1 and added 250 ml waited and then added another 250 ml to get it show “full”.

They should be able to drain a little. I did this once when I 1st started performing my own maintenance.

the cure for this is running the oil filling module in piwis which will re certify the engine oil is within parameters. Otherwise, just draining it won't tell the DME to reset that warning indicator. Once the warning is tripped the module needs to be taught the oil level is correct. This is part of the oil filling procedure and is why one cannot really do an oil change on these cars 'correctly' and reliably without piwis.
