It should not matter if it is a Targa since the parts list does not differeniate so it must be due to yours being a 2015; however, even then I wonder why. PCCBs were an option back then, right? Since you are at dealership one would think they would know albeit I talked to several dealer parts departments when complying the list and many were wrong!

991-351-805-03 COVER PANEL
991-351-806-03 COVER PANEL
991-352-805-02 COVER PANEL
991-352-806-02 COVER PANEL

They said the holes don't align properly. I have an early 2015 model. Any idea what might be causing this? Are there different cover panels that I should order? Thx!
You do not have the correct cover panels part numbers for a 991.1. The parts listed are for 991.2. The 991.1 uses different part numbers. I would talk to a Porsche parts department and have them give you the correct part numbers.

Thanks Keith. Do you have a sense of if the rest of the brake parts fit properly?

Success, finally! After several years, I finally took my 991.2 PCCB brake parts (to install on my 991.1) in to Jacob Coen at Spec German. He made a few calls and figured out that the only issue I have is with the rear brake cover plates. So he modified them (drilled a new hole and cut a little off the top) and installed all the parts. Everything else was plug and play; I will pick up my car later this week and add a few pics. So I can confirm that the 991.2 Targa 4 PCCBs will fit on the 991.1 Targa 4s. Really glad it all worked out ok in the end!

On a different note, my car has around 8k miles and has always been garaged. Any idea if it's normal for the hubs to have so much rust? I'd have thought they would look pretty new.

congratulations @judd10
those PCCBs look very nice on your 991.1
were your car originally equipped with PCCBs?

I'm asking cause my 991.1 has PCCBs from factory and I'd like to upgrade to the larger 991.2 rotors.
I'd appreciate any input for what's required in terms of hardware esp. those who had done the same upgrade.

TIA

My 991.1 had the standard stock rotors and black calipers. I purchased all the hardware for the 991.2's PCCBs listed in the earlier post. I think I recall that the standard 991.1 PCCBs were the same as the 997's (should be able to easily confirm on yours). So I'm guessing you may need to update a majority of your brake parts. Just my guess, but I hope i'm wrong!

Thank you judd10 for the input.
you're right, rotors part# start with 997.

So far it seems that larger rotors aren't compatible with 991.1 Carrera PCCB calipers, meaning I'll have to change the whole system (almost).

I'd appreciate any guidance from members with first hand experience.

TIA
