so one of my horns isn’t working. no beepbeep, just meepmeep. so i checked and the whole freakin bumper has to come off to access the horns. wow, thats a lot of stuff to do just to get to the horns. luckily she still under warranty so ill let them do it. life goes on.
My horn was also replaced under warranty a couple years ago. Yes, the bumper cover needs to be removed. Tell them to make sure they clean your radiators real well while they are in there.
[QUOTE=drcollie;15612065]in my 991, the horn is very easy to access, its up by the battery and one screw and its out.[/:QUOTE]
if only it were that easy. what you are referring to are the sirens for the alarm. the horns are under the front bumper cover on either side of the radiators.
I wonder if one of mine isn't working. When I pressed the horn, Sara and I both laughed because the sound was so wimpy. As you say, "meep," not "BEEP."

I had one of mine go about 6 months ago as well. Thankfully was still under warranty! Although I wouldn't have minded learning how to take the front bumper off. Can't be any harder than changing the battery in the freaking 958 Cayenne!
