Yearly Stuff Does not make sense but warranty requires I guess
So next summer I will be required to do 6 year 60K maintenance which includes plugs and the serpentine belt. The car will probably have 10 to 12K miles on it. CPO runs out in June and then the fidelity 10/100 takes over. Obviously with 10K miles on the car it does not need plugs and a serpentine belt but I guess I am stuck performing these needless maintenance items to keep warranty in tact.

I purchased a two-year service plan for $1500. I got an oil change. One oil change. Live and learn.

BTW plugs are at 40K for the 991.1's except turbo cars.

A serpentine belt is something I would worry about whether it needs it or not (they do dry out). Seen blown engines when they failed. Although have never seen a Porsche with one that failed.

Had the selling dealer do a 4 year service last year. Brake flush, replaced plugs, replaced engine air filters and since the rear bumper was off, replaced the serpentine belt (did the oil change myself). I supplied the parts and dealer agreed to do the labor for $950.00.

Find a good Indy shop and you will not question the prices since they will be lower than the dealer and likely to care about what they are doing a lot more, and probably actually enjoy their work. I was lucky to find one here in north/central FL: Pulse Racing Services, who is happy to do an oil change one day and tear an engine apart the next, all with a smile.

Spark Plugs are on time (4 years) not necessarily mileage. If you drive on salty, briney winter roads you will want to get them out before they seize. That's an exposed area and all the crud gets up in there.

The spark plugs are deep in the engine covered nicely from any weather by the coil packs and then some metal shielding protecting them.
But to DIY the plugs is pretty reasonable.

Antifreeze is for life is what I was told. I did have mine changed
I had my Antifreeze flushed and changed because it was showing low and I added tap water to remedy. To my surprise the flush cost me $700 at the dealer. I have also heard that the PWIS is needed to do the flush because valves need to be opened to do it.
