Default Expected 10,000; 20,000, 30,000, etc mile service costs

I won't have my first 911 until May of 2019 (see signature) and am curious about expected normal maintenance costs.

haven't found a reliable source of info on this yet but for those that have owned 911's what are the expected typical, periodic maintenance costs from a dealership?

Thanks.

Do it yourself
oil change after 1000 miles , then yearly (depends on milage)
brake flush every other year
check tire pressure each drive

all kidding aside 300-400 oil service
brake flush 259
major service 1 1650 labor plus parts
anti freeze 5006

Your sales person/service advisor should be able to run down all the service cost with you.

Costs vary a lot based on the area of the country you live, but I have found this one to be fairly close to what my dealership charges. Its a few years old, so you may have to add a little to the listed prices for inflation.

And remember that for many that aren't daily drivers of the car, it isn't really 10k, 20k, 30k, etc. service, it is often 1 year, 2 year, 3 year, etc. (Whichever comes first).

I’m going to DIY oil & filter change. I’m guessing well under $100 for oil & filter. I already stocked up on oil from Walmart during Black Friday. On my GTS, it looks like I can flush the brake fluid without even taking off the wheels. These 2 things by DIY should save you a good chunk of change. A little bonding time with your baby is good.

Our cars use Dot 4 brake fluid which is extremely harmful to paint, including wheel paint. I wouldn't recommend that!

Point taken. Thanks. I'll be extra extra careful when the time comes.

Reading thru this... I did not see the recommended Replace Drive Belt service at 60K miles. It is in my C2 Maintenance Guide.

There are two bleeders on each caliper. The inner bleeders will be a challenge to get to with the wheels mounted.

Thanks everyone for the info. I was just curious what to expect really. I'm definitely a DIY guy (have basically built my 2014 Mustang from the ground up) but was concerned about warranty issues I guess on my 911 if I did it myself. I have a 4 post lift in the garage that makes getting to stuff under the car pretty easy.

And on bleeding brakes, yes, take those wheels off! lol I ruined the powder coating on an expensive drag race rim on my Mustang by being lazy when bleeding the brakes once. ;-]

Just record and track the mileage that you performed the services at.

This is how I've kept maintenance records on cars for about 20 years now.
