My wife has been great with my current 991.1 and the inbound 991.2 GTS, even when I checked more and more option boxes. She drives an X3 M-Sport, which is really nice. We just put an order in for a new Tesla Model 3 dual motor in white for her. We drove the performance version and it was solid & quick. She doesnt ask for much, but she really liked that EV.

Default why are you asking me

Is all I hear now when i start talking about the next vehicle. Im not sure if this is some version of shell shock but I still manage to work in about 1-6 months of new vehicle foreplay to reduce stress.

I have it easy apparently. My wife is fine with my car obsession. She doesn't really want to know about each purchase in advance. She watched the 2016 GT3 go 6 months after I bought it used because I got a new 2018 manual GT3 and she politely listened to me tell her about how this is the pinnacle of 911 and a keeper this time - she just smiled the same way she had for the last 12 car rationalizations. Six months later she asked where new GT3 was and I explained how the "T" I traded it for was coming and why it's "the keeper"...same smile.

14 years here and couldn't be happier. When we bought her Cayenne, she insisted on ordering the 20" RS Spyders over the 19's to make it look right.

I know the local owner of a 930 Turbo and a 991 GTS that is female that would be quite annoyed by this viewpoint.

You're doing it wrong. I start talking about the next vehicle the day after the new one gets home! My wife can't understand why I can't enjoy what I just bought.

She's an anomaly.
