Dealer installed these on my 2017 turbo s. I never drive in snow. In Utah/ Nevada my winter driving temps vary from freezing to 85 degrees, so I wanted a tire for winter that would last longer. Dealer inflated to 36 front 42 rear. Drove yesterday and Friday 580 miles over three mountain ranges with lots of very tight, medium and high speed turns. Temps from freezing to 61 degrees. Very aggressive driving with my friends.
Tires felt stiffer than my previous Sottozero winter tires. Pronounced understeer at the 36/42 inflation pressures. Reduced pressure in fronts to 32 and rears to 38 and the fun started. The tires held at 1.1 g in an unexpected declining radius right turn per the g meter in the car. I plan to reduce the rear tire pressure to 36 for my next trip and see if performance changes. Overall, the tires delivered once I got them dialed in.

My dudes... im not seeing anyone mention that these are 5lb heavier PER corner than N0 tires. Thats 20lb additional rotational mass at the worst part of the wheel. Worse than the exact opposite of pccb.
so, altho i think its a nice benefit of extra grip in dry cold I would NOT run these over summer tires just for convenience. I would imagine one can feel it everywhere.. steering, acceleration, maneuverability.. vs summer tires, even if they had the same compound

On web page Tire Rack said they fit. They fit on rims as the pics show above. I bought them as an experiment. I drove them very tentatively at first and with the exception of the one corner intentionally. The dealer asked that I let them know how they perform. Clearly they are not summer tires and I will go back to summer tires next spring.

Based on my Owner’s Manual, rears are 11.5j 20 RO 56. I have seen on forums some say they are 12 inch rims, but that is not the tech spec in my owners manual, nor on other company rim sites I have seen. All say OEM rims are 11.5 inches on my center lock wheels.

Burning Brakes
Good so far! I installed these Potenza AS tires two weeks ago - prior to my first (ever) track day. We've had some 20 degree temps recently so, yes, not ideal for track... but they WERE GREAT!! I had no issues catching everyone in the turns, so I can't wait to see what summer tires can do! I ran 31f and 37r (aka the "Summer" setup per the manual).
Very happy with these tires.
I haven't noticed any appreciable difference between the p-zeros and these Bridgestone tires.

Still chugging along, they don’t even look worn at 4500 miles. Hits freezing —> don’t care. Drove 200 miles on Sunday in 40 degree weather, not a blip. Second pic by pinkjacketphotography (I could never make anything look that good).

I may go with the Bridgestone all seasons at my next tire change. I am currently swapping summer Pzero and winter Sottozero on my OEM Carrera T wheels. I live in the midwest where we can get temp swings from sub zero in the winter to 100F in the summer. I rarely drive in any real snow, but often in cold temps. Spring and Fall can be below freezing or 70 degree days. I think the all-season performance tires are a good middle ground for a street car. I don't intend to track the car on these tires, and they seem to have good performance for a street car. I know I'd be giving up some ultimate summer grip and heavy snow performance vs dedicated summer and winter tires but the convenience of a tire that I can drive in 4 seasons, in all temps, seems like it would be worth it.

Joining the bandwagon
This week I’ll be putting RE980AS on my stock wheels. I have track set of rims that I recently purchased with MPSC2 that I have not tried out yet. I had PZeros on my current wheels and ate them up with several track days...
Settled on the RE980AS as they appear to be a good all season tire. We get plenty of wet weather here in Florida and I don’t baby my baby...

Just put them on. Porsche of Ocala has “employee” pricing for tires.... so even less than Tire Rack!
Put about 40 miles driving back home. They feel nice. I was on PZeros that I chewed up in a few months at the track.
