I would just go to any electronics repair shop, they should be able to resolder a new USB port onto the board. Like a place that does consumer electronics repairs (hifi etc)

You would just need to solder a new one of these onto your circuit board.

Maybe a place like this?

You are from Los Angeles, but you suggested a place very close to where I live. Amazing.

Without reading through this whole thread, are different calibration files still available for download or did that go away?

I seem to believe it has gone away and the latest and greatest file comes with the newest version.

I just purchased a used DSC V3 with a 10/22 build date that was in a 981 GT4 and will be installing it in my 991.1. Do I need the 991.1 version of the RS file (which I believe is the latest calibration file)?

The DSC Tuner software (free) allows you to upload the existing file, download a new file or modify a file.
