Sorry to hear that.... Which trim location are you referring to? The thin black trim around the side rear quarter window? If the trim you'd like to replace is around that window, you may have to replace the window! I am not joking.... Unfortunately, the trim around the rear-quarter glass is "permanent" and installed directly to the window at the factory....

Easy to replace the window tho!

there are a few scratches on the trim for the cup holders and also on both sides of the main doors. think it should be an easy job but wondering if anyone actually gave it a go.

Isn’t that interior trim black brushed aluminum?
must be some good impacts/gashes as I feel it’s pretty durable and just needs a wipe to clean up. Often mine looks marked up at the console but it cleans up with a wipe. (Surface is a matte and has a slight texture making it prone to marking from nails...easily wiped up).

yes its the brushed aluminum and i thought i had a similar scratch but this was deep so much so that the only thing to mask it was a sharpie. blame my kids wanting to go to the beach and my beach chair rubbing against the trim!

damn no good kids

LOL! Sorry, I was mistakenly thinking you were referring to the exterior trim bits!

You can't replace the door trim to my knowledge, its bonded to the door panel.

I had a rattling speaking in my D/S side door and my Porsche dealer horribly scratched the trim on the edge of the door panel while fixing the rattle. They ended up replacing the whole door panel.

All of the center pieces can be replaced. Maybe just buy the CF overlays and switch it all to CF in the console and dash trim.

The finish on the black aluminum trim is very abrasive, my trimmed finger nails leave little white streaks down it (which easily wipe off) if I happen to brush against it when opening of closing the door.

yeah that was my fear, think its the entire panel that needs replacing, and it's not that bad. now i have to get creative with the masking. the Sharpie was a fail. maybe some matte spray paint will work.

The door trims CAN be removed. Not simple. See attached thread for details

Do you have a picture of your scratch? Maybe a spot repair in place will work?

As far as I know the trim is not available. Once and a while the carbon fiber door spears show up for sale on the used market. It is more for information if you remove yours and have them repaired.

that was my car. I had the original trim recovered in carbon fiber. On the door spears, double sided tape didn't really work for reattaching. I wound up taking small M6 bolts and gluing them on to the back of the spears with E6000 adhesive and then bolting them onto the door card in the original holes that I had drilled out.
