What is the shelf life of Motul 8100 Oil? I hear its only 2 years?

There are three digits on the containers. is it this format? Day, Month, Year? I would assume this is production date?

Thank you in advance.
2 years is shelf life of most synthetic oils. Probably quicker if seal has been broken and it has been sitting (partial container of oil).
