Of those who have ceramic coating applied, how often to you drive the vehicle, particularly when it may rain? Of those with darker paint, how well does your brand of ceramic coating protect against water spots?

From my side, I've had the coating applied to white, mahogany metallic, and black. With the darker hues, the mirror/glass look is much more apparent than on a white car. However, I was more interested in the actual longevity of protection for the paint:-) The look is a plus:-)

Daily drivers for all of the Porsches owned, including rain. I've not noticed any water spots at all.

What coating are you using? How may miles do you drive a year per P-car?

Gtechniq is what my installer used. Average is 10K-12K per year between the Cayenne and 991.2. I don't own the Panamera anymore.

Yes from me. Easy clean, great shine, and added protection. What’s not to like? Furthermore, there are no negatives. I have GTechniq Chrystal Serum and could not be happier. The color is Lime Gold Metallic and I have driven about 10K miles since application about a year ago. Pretty much year around except when wery cold, icy, or snowy as I did not get snows for this one as I did on my previous 911.

Also, love been able to use touchless wash with zero guilt.

How many miles do you have on each? Colors of each?

I know this product is not the same as the coatings discussed here but I have been using F11 Topcoat for some time an love it. First, it is very easy to apply. Spray on and wipe off any surface, paint, glass, plastic. I can do the entire car in 30 minutes. Looks great, sheds dirt and very hydrophobic. Lasts a good six months and builds up over time. Take a look at it on their site.

Mine has a few minor scratches here and there, but it's not ready to be completely redone yet.
Dennis- do you have a recommendation for a shop in the Denver/Boulder/Golden area? Thx. Mike

I did over 12,000 miles last driving season. I think I washed my car 3 times. I like having my car done every 2 years, because it looks perfect. I'm not making these choices based on anything to do with price or cost.

From September 2017's CQuartz. Picture #1 is just washed, and 2 year-old (over 24,000 miles) OptiCoat Pro. Looks pretty damn good. Picture #2 is after a light paint correction and CQuartz Pro. Very happy customer.

Right at 39k miles here with Modesta on ~80% of the car. Lighting, from this angle is quite favorable as well.
