Nah, the stock brakes are good enough for me.

Hey Suncoast, how about a Carrera T big brake package deal?

Our friends at Suncoast (and the other sponsor parts suppliers) are always listening. I'm sure there are several Carrera T buyers who are disappointed that they couldn't order their car with the 6 piston S brakes. How about an all inclusive package deal for upgrading the T to either 6 piston Brembo or Porsche red brakes? I for one would make the swap providing that the pricing was competitive and ready to bolt on. Anyone else interested in a package deal?

I had an email exchange with Aldo at Suncoast back in March about upgrading to the 991.2 S steel brakes system (350mm rotors and 6 piston calipers). He said the reason they did not offer it yet was because they didn't have a guinea pig test car. He was able to pull the part numbers together so I assume they would sell the pieces. He did add, "Please be aware that it isn't a Porsche authorized upgrade so you assume responsibility for the outcome."

I can't imagine that the T brake application differs from the base Carrera. Maybe there is a rear difference due to the RWS option, but I doubt it.

I am a definite maybe. (But had to vote 'yes'.) I am in no particular hurry this year to change my car... (spent my discretionary funds on the car). I may start playing on the track next summer (after rebuilding said funds)... and around that time (or later) I may look at a brake upgrade. Unless the group discount NOW is attractive. (I don't have RAS.)

Depends on cost. Shouldnt be over 3k given rear brakes are the same, no?

Jordan Pryce,
Don't take this the wrong way, but I think Pointbye is misunderstanding when you say 3 piston caliper as most people refer to 6 piston caliper a 6 piston caliper, not a 3 piston per pad. I have never heard of anyone say "3 piston (3 pistons per pad/6 per caliper/12 per pair) when describing a 6 piston caliper when you can just say 6 piston caliper. Its like calling a V8 a 4 cylinder engine per bank. I am not sure why anyone would ever call it that, but thats kinda what you are doing.
So just to avoid confusion and hostility, lets refer to a 6 piston caliper as a 6 piston caliper and leave it at that.
Anyways, I hope Suncoast offers this brake upgrade for those who want it.
Good luck Jordan!

Tay, I totally agree. And had he simply said "you mean 6 pot" or something constructive like that, I would have responded in kind. He didn't. He's not here to add to the conversation. He's a troll, as all of his 76 posts clearly show. https://rennlist.com/forums/search.p...rchid=32258183 I have little patience for unprovoked rudeness and I don't suffer fools.
