For the life of me, I have no idea why people would not even bother to read the thread (or any of the T threads or reviews) and then come in here and ask this. Bizarre.

Well being a gentleman of discernment is important to fully appreciate what the T has to offer its driver....

Hmmm... best to read through the threads as otherwise, it's like Freddie Mercury trying to explain "Bohemian Rhapsody" to the record label rep (played by Mike Myers). Not gonna happen.

Sweet. I've been checking Minichamps and Schuco's sites and never saw this. Minichamps' site isn't great, so I may have missed it. I have a few of their cars and they are top notch.

2 weeks ago, I came across a post on Instagram from a guy named Tobias (THintenaus@web.de), He is a scale modeler and does custom paint and detail work on models to match the owners interest. I contacted him and sent photos of my car, and some of the livery changes I have done. He agreed to make me a model with the following details. He is working on it now...

1/43 scale Porsche 911 Carrera T base model in redmirrorw in satin blacklicense plate (EU bumper)seat insertsPorsche side stripesflat black grillnew Porsche logo on the backblack rimsIt will be cool to have a model, showing my car with the euro-delivery plate, triple stripes, blacked out mirrors, wheels, deck grill.Price, is certainly higher than a box model 1:43 scale car, but this is custom. His price is based on how much work he is having to do.BTW: I told him I would be keen for a 1:18 scale too, he is on the lookout for a source in this size.

I'll share photos and a side-by-side at some point when I receive the completed model. I'm looking forward to it ;-)

Nice find! The GT Silver version is limited to just 100 pcs and slightly more money (about $95 w/shipping). Ordered mine, thanks!

Angry Data connection quit!

Has anyone had a problem with the data connection in their T quitting? Mine worked fine until the end of the 3 month trial period when I switched it over to my AT&T plan and then it just quit. Everything else in the PCM works ok, including WiFi, just no data connection. AT&T worked on the issue at the second level of tech support and decided something was not right with the car. The car has been at the dealer for several days but so far no success. The PCM screen that controls turning data on or off (Phone screen, Opt, Phone, Data) indicates that data is turned on via the embedded SIM, however that selection is not highlighted and therefore cannot be used to turn data off or on. It appears that a PCM reboot is necessary but I believe the dealer already tried that with no success. I'm going into the dealer this week to work with them on the problem but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so was it resolved?

My 3 months are up in a week or so, will find out.

So things like satellite map view doesn’t work?

As far as I can tell the only thing not working is the WiFi internet hotspot which requires a paid data connection. My radar detector requires a data link to update its data base (Escort 360c Max) which doesn't happen now. In addition, as soon as my phone connects to the car's WiFi there is no internet access (i.e. data connection). All of the Porsche PCM apps seem to work fine. As I noted it really seems like a PCM reboot should be the answer but I am not aware of the levels of reboot for the PCM 4.0 in or cars. I hope to clear that up at the dealer this week and will post their explanation. Regarding the change over to a paid plan at the end of the trial period, I did that on the AT&T website. In retrospect I think it might be better to do it on the phone with AT&T or in person at one of their stores. For reference the phone # to AT&T Connected Car support is 866-595-1222.

BTW, nice color!
