Anyone know where one should put a safety jack stand when jacking up one corner at the jack point? I'm looking to remove one wheel at a time to clean and coat them. I have a floor jack and two jack stands, but if I use the jack point, then I obviously can't use the jack stand there. I'll keep the floor jack up and just want to use the jack stand as safety in case the floor jack fails. I did do a search on rennlist and it seems that the cross brace is a good place?!

I do know about jackpoint stands as well as the quick jack and the rennstands, but don't think it's worth spending the money when this is really a once every two years thing.

thanks in advance.

I received my welcome kit yesterday. 12/27 delivery. Standard "Carbon" pen and Porsche Principle book. The slot that would normally hold the wallet card was empty. Are they still sending those out?

I received mine yesterday as well. Mine has the carbon pen and the wallet card with name and VIN. The kit has the hardback Porsche principle book, a softback Porsche catalog of services and merch, and a welcome letter. Also one loose sheet of warning on the internal phone that lists the VIN. I received the official product spec sheet separately a couple weeks ago.

It’s likely that it fell out. I’ve had to reorder the packet three times. First one only the presentation case was torn and I asked for just a replacement of the case. They reordered an entire new package but this one someone had driven over so the pen and package were destroyed. The third was still not perfect but I gave up. Now I have three sets except for the pen and not one perfect presentation case. SMH lol.

Amazing. I’ve bought more than a dozen 911s, never an issue.

Congrats 991.2T. Just got mine a few weeks ago and love it too. Great username btw, it’s what I was thinking for my personalized plate.

I used the contact form on Porsche's website and received an email back within a day. If you don't feel like calling: https://contact.porsche.com/usa/dial...ion/contactus/

Thanks!
I took it out for a drive this weekend and decided to quickly snap a few pictures! My second Carrera T arrives this Friday and will complete my hot dog condiment duo (ketchup and mustard) of 911 Carrera Ts! :-D

Great pics, 991.2T!

You’re getting a second T? Racing Yellow? Will it have a very different spec to your Guards Red T?
