I've had an Escort Redline (older model) for about 8 years and I stopped counting the number of times it saved me. I plan to order an R3 and blendmount, and mirror-tap for the incoming GTS.
Thing is, nowadays in NJ, the much greater threat is blowing past unmarked state police who hang out in the middle or right lanes and who aren't using radar at all. The vast majority of Waze and radar alerts are for cops who've already pulled people over and are already otherwise occupied.
What we really need are drones with high-resolution cameras and cop-recognition AI that fly a few miles ahead to scan the terrain. With infrared at night. The costs, logistics, and legality would be problematic, I suppose. Ah well, a boy can dream.

I'm planning to use the same "combo". Waze has proven itself many times and in my country everybody uses it, so the reporting is very goo.
