The earliest VIN I've found for a Carrera T in the US for a vehicle produced in 12/17 (first official month of production of the T for the US) has a VIN ***5843. The latest I've seen, produced in 5/18 is ***6582. That is a total of 739 cars INCLUDING ALL BASE CARRERAS, which share the same VIN format as the T. Looking at the number of Base cars listed produced in the same period, there is AT LEAST a 2:1 Base vs T, which would make it IMPOSSIBLE to be more than 250 to 300 T's in the US at this moment.

IF ANYONE who has received their T with the last 4 digits of their VIN greater than 6582, please post it here.

Given this, assuming ALL Base/T allocations ended up being T's, I have not seen a single month with more than 150 Base/T's built for the US. So, assuming ALL of the B/T's produced in June and July are T's, that will be an additional 300 T's (highly unlikely as there would be a shortage of Base cars). Even with that wild assumption, there is no way we can have more than 600 - 700 T's for MY2018. Compare this to over 2,300 GT3's US bound cars, and you can see that even when not limited by a hard number, they are quite rare in the grand scheme of things.

These are FACTS, not opinions of a dealer, or sales people chatter. If you have hard facts like these that can challenge my claim, you are encouraged to post them.
The flaw in your logic is that you are basing it on historical numbers. The owner (not a sales rep) of a largish dealer told me that Europe got most of the allocation for all 911s this year, because of emissions changes coming in the fall. Now that this is done, North America is going to get a lot more allocations. So what happened earlier this year is not at all an indication of what’s to come.

If it makes you feel better to feel that your T is limited production, that’s great. It’s a great car. It’s just not limited, and they are plentiful- at least in the US/Canada. If your current dealer tells you otherwise, find another one.

I drove one today at the Porsche center Atlanta. I mostly did laps for 1.5hrs and never a hint of brake fade with stops measured at -1g. The stock brakes are plenty. I had also written off buckets as an option for me...but I loved them at 6'2" 245#.

If you read what I said was that these numbers were not premature regarding 2018. I am not forecasting 2019, just showing the numbers for 2018. Where is the flaw in the logic???

Regarding 2019 here is what I wrote: "There may be more allocations in the future,..."

I was told by my dealer production for the T ends once dec deliveries are booked. Anyone heard this?? We are already into November deliveries, meaning the party would be almost over. They are about to drop the Cayman T reveal which I suspect will carry the T moniker for the next 12 months while the 992 launches. This also makes me think they might keep the T in the lineup like a gts... and why not? Every single person that drives it loves it (minus the 7 speed and bs weight savings claim).

but a T model on 992, which’ll havevdigital everything will be a harder sell as far as a back to basics car.

Problem is porsche always knows how to make their latest variations models appealing.

GT3? Very nice. 991.1. White or yellow?

Have now done 5,018 miles since April 6th in the T and am getting to like it & know it more with every drive!

Definitely think that the T is the 991 for me, albeit if I came into a windfall, my heart would desire a 991.2 GT3 with the Touring Pack

How’s life with the GT3?

Really enjoying it, love the 9,000 rpm !

It's white, I did what ceramics n sport buckets, but no cage, so I can take our little whippet out too. I did want to see what removing the spoiler would involve, possible but expensive..... now I really like the spoiler

Speaking of gt3s... is it possible to get the little rear lip add-on on rear trailing edge of the rear wing found on touring model separately?

I just got one from suncoast for 670. Took a month and they only had a hanful for sale. I ended up not installing it because i like the slippery look on the booty of the narrow body and the t spoiler has some serious height already. Shipping it to reacher tomorrow

Would you mind sharing a link to Suncoast's part, and/or a picture of the one you got?

Thanks!
