Default Butt dyno

Just curious for those of you who have driven the T, I assume it drives like the base Carerra? No real difference in response?

Janko Lind did a youtube review today, he said it feels different, as it should with shorter gearing, less sound deadening, ras, lsd and spasm.

the total 911 article also went on record implying the throttle mapping has gts magic sauce.

I can’t say if it’s the gearing or something else, but it’s certainly faster than the base.

I personly think it’s mapped differently and Porsche didn’t declare it. I saw one independent 0-60, (I think it was motor trend) at 3.4 seconds!

That’s what I saw too, it didn’t make sense to me, 3.4 sec is fast! My current M4 with MDCT is like 3.8 to 3.9 sec.

All good news for us T owners.

Thinking about doing euro delivery. Looking to take delivery while Oktoberfest is going on but my build will take place sometime in July. My SA said they will hold the car for 60 days but after that they'd really like to see the car gone.

Re:0-60 from C/D. 3.4 is pdk 3.9 is mt. Both are with 1ft rollout so add .3 sec, 3.7-4.2. Basically a hair better than porsche claims (better for pdk).

Haven’t spent much time above 4000 rpms yet, but one thing that I’ve noticed is the turbo pre-spool in Sport Plus mode adds a good bit of throttle response. A base Carrera without Sport Chrono presumably would not have this advantage.

What a funny (great) review. What he says is totally true. This car was meant to be a clubsport. Calling it a T was an afterthought.

I have to agree with this. After about 300miles so far, it feels more agressive than a C2. Might just be that secret sauce programming + gear ratios but my butt dyno feels a difference.

Great drive today. First wash. Now it needs washing again. (I might have to get a pic for the “kill bugs fast thread”).

Random things heard from the passenger seat.

“...I’m really glad you got this car...”
”...I LIKE these seats, I like how they hold you...”
