^ Lol.

Had a meeting at the 000 office a few weeks ago. A full article index of 000 came up, so I reached back from my chair to pluck Issue 74 of Excellence off a shelf behind me, which had an index of all issues to that point…one of my very first tasks there right out of college. "What?" I said as I looked at the faces around the table.

Consider me all ears, as well.

Our new printer agreed to paying for expedited shipping this week due to the delay, and I'd love to know when issues actually arrive.

If you're staking your reputation (and cash) on the US postal system, good luck! They routinely "forget" to deliver at least in our part of the country.

Not yet here in SoCal, waiting! These are really great and appreciate all the efforts put into them.

Ask me how I know. FedEx'd a watch that had a lot of meaning for me to the authorized service center back east, which recommended against all courier services except USPS, saying they had lost watches with the others but never USPS. So I insured it properly, or even excessively, and went with their recommendation. Of course it didn't show up, and neither USPS nor the shop covered the loss.

So I have hesitated in sharing these images of the first US-made copies of 000 for fear of pouring salt on…but the printer agreed to cover expedited shipping and we're told all skids (finally) went out last week. I will say they nailed the quality, which was fear #1.

Thanks for your patience—and support!

I went from being cautiously optimistic to pessimistic regarding issues 25 and 26. I am an S subscriber and still don’t have either issue nor an email that they were shipped. I do have around 10 emails from 000, starting in early June, that the shipment would be soon. The email from June said shipment by the end of the month. I love reading 000 and can’t wait for my S editions. I just hope I receive them sometime this year.🤔

I receive a monthly professional journal full of topics relevant to my employment. The last issue of the year in December always contains an annual index for the prior 12 months of editions. I can usually remember what year I read something and then just go to the December issue for that particular year and check the annual index to track down an article. Putting out an annual index in the last volume of the year also breaks up the work into manageable pieces for the editors/publishers. Putting together the annual index would be a great job for a journalist intern, under some supervision, of course. Just a thought as anything would be better than nothing.

I'm know I'm dating myself, but I can remember when Road & Track magazine use to issue an annual index. But, then again, does anybody get R&T anymore??

In 1972, my best friend and I entered into an agreement where I got Hot Rod magazine monthly and he got R&T and then we shared them……usually in the back of the biology classroom. Good memories.

The quality of each issue of 000 exceeds that of most Porsche-themed books. I feel like it is material that would be required coursework in a PhD level education on Porsche. Having gotten through "Excellence Was Expected" and a litany of other books on Porsche history, 000 scratches the remaining itch I have to learn more.

P25 & 26? We have a winner!!!!!!

I will be stalking the activity at my mailbox even more than usual......

Are subscribers supposed to get tracking numbers? Long ago I seem to remember getting an email with a tracking number but haven't received one in several years.
