I don't think the joker button (diamond) is mapped to anything in CarPlay either, I tried to set mine up with skip forward/back and it has never worked, so it appears to only be implemented within PCM's native software.
Classic Porsche.
Ah well, the hardware fwd/rev buttons on the PCM4 are good enough. Not like it's far to reach.
I am trying to connect to the PCM via the hotspot on my Mac an. The IP addresses are 10.173.189.* and not 10.0.0.*
I cannot telnet into 10.0.0.15 either. Did anyone face a similar issue?

Create a network interface with static IP of 10.0.0.x
Create a network interface with static IP of 10.0.0.x
@chris2 : Thanks for the reply.
I tried both: setting the static IP to 10.0.0.x and also create a virtual network interface with the static IP. I cannot find 10.0.0.15/16
There is no ping to the IP and using a network scanner no IP's in the range 10.0.0.*
Is it possible that my PCM has a different IP? Or are there settings on the PCM that will help enable the connection?
Thanks for the help!

I have a 2018 Macan S and on looking up online it does look like I have PCM4.
I am not sure how to find that our for sure. In the PCM version info I found the following:
software version: MHI2_US_POG11_P4173
hardware version: 054
Ah. I haven't messed with the Macan setup, only the 991.2 setup. Didn't think to try to dump the rom on the macan loaner I had a couple weeks ago, either.
Hi, Anyones Know the pass root for MHI2_ER_POG11_P4172 Software MU:1119
I try wirh oaIQOqkW but NO way.
I read is possible to copy in one SD this software MIB2-TOOLBOX and Start/Flash with this and obtain the pass, but I'm not sure.
Please help me.
You could try: ksaRoJgY
It is working for MHI2_ER_POG11_K4185
Do you have the FW File of MHI2_ER_POG11_P4172?
Or maybe update to MHI2_ER_POG11_K5126:
SupportedTrains = "MHI2_ER_POG11_P2137*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P2144*,MHI2_ER_POG11_K2144*,MHI2_ER_ POG11_P3275*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P3299*,MHI2_ER_POG11_K3299*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P41 50*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P4172*,MHI2_ER_POG11_K4185*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P5003*,MHI2_ ER_POG11_P5038*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P5097*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P5104*,MHI2_ER_POG11_ P5108*,MHI2_ER_POG11_K5108*,MHI2_ER_POG11_P5126*,MHI2_ER_POG11_K5126*"

Hi, I'm looking for VCDS or VDC cable "compatible" for decoding (after patch), instead of PIWIS cable.
Any advice? Is for Macan S (2018)
Thanks in advance
No effin way am I messing with the Sw of my PCM, I would end up with the black screen of death
It's multiple layers of software and you're messing with something two layers deep. Just back up the original image and you'll be fine, it's actually pretty hard to lock yourself out.
