T: 8.5 lb/hp
S: 8.3 lb/hp
C2: 9.3 lb/hp

i was wondering the same for the PDK equipped model. The T is 0-60 is 4.0 vs 3.9 for the S - !?! That’s 0.1 secs for 370 vs 420bhp.

could it it because of the weight of all the mechanical "goodies" you don’t get on the T?

the light weight glass saves only 8 pounds.

The PDK adds about 40 lbs. But how much weight is saved by losing the mechanical diff and the PTV?

Default Ceramic brakes

What are everyone’s thoughts regarding spec'ing ceramic brakes on the T? I wouldn’t even think about it had the carbon specked with S. brakes but...

The numbers I listed are for the MT. I'm not really sure how they are calculating everything, but it seems awfully close to the S. When you read/watch all the reviews though, no one seems to comment on this. Any one else have thoughts around these numbers and their meaning/impact?

Nope... see below

Correct. It is exactly the same.... like I stated/illustrated: in post #254

Are you saying that PTV+ decreases or increases weight, out of curiosity?

I'm hoping PTV is a piece of mechanical hardware, and given its not included w/ the PDK, that the weight will be lower as a consequence.

[Let's say for a second I take a 911T with lightweight bucket seats (LWBS) away for a weekend trip.]

Q:How do you put gear behind the LWBS seats?

Are the seats fixed? You can't hinge them forward, and they slide forward a little... So, your only option is to stuff stuff through the center between the two seats into the back???

With no rear seats, there is a lot of space back there... but, just curious whether it is at all useable.

No judging. Just asking.

The are fixed. Slide the passenger seat forward and stuff. Not the best option but as I understand it the older folding buckets ala 997 GT-2 no longer meet some safety standards so they are not offering them anymore.

I'd love to have folding buckets so I could use back seats.

Ordered mine today, must be one of the last, lucky dealer had one allocation left. Looking forward to driving it.
White, LWB, 6MT, full interior package with red stitching and gauges, aluminum pedals,

PJXSGK86

Plan to install roll bar, and harness and getting a tune - then I have a basic 911 with good driving options and with tune getting GTS hp numbers. Any recommendation on tune?
