Now that we are seeing posts of members taking delivery of Targas with the black Targa bar, I am curious what peoples thoughts are on the black bar. For me, it seems I like the black bar look on the bolder colors (yellow, orange, miami blue, etc) but I also think those colors look great with the silver bar. That said, I do see some colors where the black bar does not have enough contrast to the rest of the car for my eye.

Which color Targa bar do you prefer??


I think the silver bar rocks on my Targa with the painted Sport Technos, so it certainly seems to make a difference on how the Targa bar, wheels and car color all tie into the overall look.

I don't think I will ever buy a targa, but if I do, I will opt for the silver bar.

I went with a murdered out Targa GTS...so, I guess I vote black.

The black bar and wheels/other exterior accents of the GTS looks great with just about every color, giving a completely different feel than the silver bar with polished wheels. There are so many combos that can give each person their own "car personality", it's hard to choose a favorite. But I have to go with the black!

I think it depends on color. I think silver has the classic look. The blacked out look is cool. Congrats on the Targa. They are great cars.

I ordered an S, so I didn't have a choice at the time. But I'm happy with the combo of 18 way seat backs, "standard" interior package and plain wheels with the silver bar.

Aren't you the one who spec'd the LTS in Black? If so, how do you like it. Any pics of that....assuming my memory is correct.

Good memory; correct. LTS natural leather in black. It's great with the GT Silver stitching. I'm going to try to post some interior pics over the weekend. Been very busy at work and today was the first day I've had any free time in a while. Unfortunately, Fall is coming up fast; I spent the day planting fall food plots and forecast is for T storms tomorrow.
Maybe by Sunday...
Thanks for the compliment. It's fun to look at but spent all day on the tractor.
